    Re: Ultimate General: Gettysburg

The AI is fantastic. All I have to say. The 9 settings is brilliant and really does have a noticeable effect on them.
  3. Re: New Free-LC on the horizon plus more coming in Rally Point 20!

BTW, do you mind telling us the details behind that 550 MB patch you released for Rome 1 on steam? ;)

500 MB patch for Rome on steam

I think they're patching the Gamespy multiplayer system?

The update size was 559.8 MB for me.

    Re: Rome 2 Touch Control

This explains the weird UI actually.
  6. Re: Rome 2: The way it's meant to be played (tm) - for NVIDIA owners: performance boost and finally SLI support from 7th April

760, only got like 2 more FPS. +64% really Nvidia?

Poll: Re: Patch 9 beta Discussion

I did get a good fps increase in battles I noticed. I was able to even max out the game and still have decent fps. Only tried one siege and it seemed promising.

    Re: Rome 2 SteamWorkshop

I think unsubscribing from the mod uninstalls it.
  9. Re: "Sorry From CA - Current State of the Game and What Happens Next"

To be fair, 2% reporting is a huge number. You can increase that by how many people that have NOT reported.
  10. Re: Your top three issues with RTW 2 (constructive criticism)

    1. The UI is terrible.

    2. Battles go way too fast.

    3. Turn times too long.

    Re: Diplomacy sucks so bad...

Diplomacy is actually way better. I've had factions ask for alliances and to be client states.

  14. Re: Rome 2- performance regardless of settings

Well 670 runs like crap too, so I suspect its lack of optimization on CA's part.

Re: Performance must be adress , fast

I lowered shadows to low, unit details to high, and sky to low and my fps is a lot better

Re: Performance must be adress , fast

It runs like crap on a 670 here. I don't think its a AMD or nividia issue

Re: Wah, 20 minutes to unpack/update.

It needs to uncompress, and how long it takes depends on your HDD speeds.

    Re: 7/10 - eurogamer - it's not looking good

RPS thought it was spectacular and epic if flawed. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/09/02/wot-i-think-total-war-rome-ii/
  20. Re: Pre-order sites that have released Steam keys

Gamersgate also released keys, though not to appear to have released the DLC yet, not sure.
  21. Re: Total War: ROME II Preload Starts Today, Activation Times Announced for Release Day

That only changes my download region, and besides steam detects the IP I live in. :(

I'm pretty pissed off at SEGA atm.
  22. Re: Total War: ROME II Preload Starts Today, Activation Times Announced for Release Day

I finally got my key and I find that I can't activate it because Rome 2 is not "available in my region". Thanks SEGA. :(
