The AI is fantastic. All I have to say. The 9 settings is brilliant and really does have a noticeable effect on them.
BTW, do you mind telling us the details behind that 550 MB patch you released for Rome 1 on steam? ;)
I think they're patching the Gamespy multiplayer system?
The update size was 559.8 MB for me.

This explains the weird UI actually.
760, only got like 2 more FPS. +64% really Nvidia?
I did get a good fps increase in battles I noticed. I was able to even max out the game and still have decent fps. Only tried one siege and it seemed promising.
I think unsubscribing from the mod uninstalls it.
To be fair, 2% reporting is a huge number. You can increase that by how many people that have NOT reported.
1. The UI is terrible.
2. Battles go way too fast.
3. Turn times too long.
I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Sue me.
Diplomacy is actually way better. I've had factions ask for alliances and to be client states.
Love the way this night shot came out. http://i.imgur.com/EfB8r35.jpg
Well 670 runs like crap too, so I suspect its lack of optimization on CA's part.
I lowered shadows to low, unit details to high, and sky to low and my fps is a lot better
It runs like crap on a 670 here. I don't think its a AMD or nividia issue
It needs to uncompress, and how long it takes depends on your HDD speeds.
It launches worldwide in 6 hours.
RPS thought it was spectacular and epic if flawed. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/09/02/wot-i-think-total-war-rome-ii/
Gamersgate also released keys, though not to appear to have released the DLC yet, not sure.
That only changes my download region, and besides steam detects the IP I live in. :(
I'm pretty pissed off at SEGA atm.
I finally got my key and I find that I can't activate it because Rome 2 is not "available in my region". Thanks SEGA. :(
