I've scoured all the tables I could imagine have something to do with this and have not been able to completely do away with the obnoxious highlighting of generals in battle. I removed all vxf...
So upon completing my Marian Reforms tech, all my land based garrisons have disappeared from all my cities without a governor (aka their bodyguard unit). All naval garrisons remain intact, but...

Greetings fellow modders,
I've got a decent experience doing DB editing in this generation of TW games but I'm starting to enter some deeper waters than I'm used to here. What I'm trying to do,...
What is the "climate change" level set to in AE? It seems like it's stage 3 or 4 of it in the vanilla campaign, which feels a bit excessive. There's heavy snows as far south as Cappadocia and deep...
The "Scythian Warband" horse archer unit causes CTDs upon loading any battle they're in.
I'm having a consistent CTD now whenever I close the "This Year In History 144 BC" message after ending said turn. Tried reloading earlier saves but the issue persists.
I have tried skipping two turns in to no avail. I haven't had a look at the DB side of things but it seems to me the pre-Marian garrison units upgrade into something that isn't listed in the garrison...
So after researching the Cohort Organisation tech as the Romans, none of my settlements have any garrisons. I still have garrisoned naval units showing up and I can't find any of this in the gameplay...
I too am having this issue. Every single value is identical. Would changing it in the standard Odryssian faction values be an option?
Yes! Many of the assets will be re-used from the main FotE overhaul but we've also used excellent assets from Celticus Magnus (author of THIS mod), who's been kind enough to allow us to use them.

Correct. Here's a shot of the boys throwing the plebs out of Carthage.
So as Dresden said, we're still working on the next update. The mod is by no means dead or otherwise abandoned :). Here's a little teaser of what I'm personally working on and if you can guess what...
Hey Tenerife_Boy, which reskin mod are you using for your romans? They look awesome.
No idea to be honest but probably not. Thanks!
Using that latest schema I'm getting the following error for Attila when trying to open campaign_character_arts_tables.

Also seems to be something strange going on with Attila's unit_variants table. Changes aren't taking effect.
As stated in the title. I've set up a line in the table, using the vanilla lines as a guide but alas, nothing. Nothing happens, so I'm guessing I'm missing something. Anyone got this to work?
It's in land_units, in a column called num_engines. Change it to whatever you want as long as you have enough crewmen to man all the pieces.
Ahhh that did the trick. Thanks buddy!
Anyone else having issues with changes made in the projectiles table not taking effect? I can open the table without a problem and it's in another pack with other DB edits that are working fine so...
Definitely not possible at all.

Had to go deep for that one. Dresden you might wanna sticky it too.
They're part of the Nordic faction group, so no not yet. Next up is the desert factions overhaul, after that the Sassanids/easterners and then it's the nordics.
Work on the sassanids has not yet begun, so currently there's nothing to show.
Great shots and all but did you really, really have to quadra-post?
Odrysia uses Dacian general variants. The starting ones are correct (thracian ones), but all the ones that get generated during the campaign are drawn from the Dacian pool. I look at the...
That's because the modified unit scales we have don't affect the starting units in any campaign. Do correct that we'd need to do ESF editing, which we've been trying to avoid for the sake of...
Yeah attila isn't actually an expansion. It's its own standalone game. So no, it should have no effect on your rome 2 install or DeI.
So 1.1's out and it's pretty damn dope. Here's a bunch of shots of a battle I fought as Syracuse against the Romans, just outside Rome itself.

Yeah it looks like there might actually be a problem with the pack itself seeing as a lot of people are having the issue. We'll be looking into it.
That's because our update for said factions has not been released yet. I'd wait until it is before starting any desert campaigns.
No idea if someone's already pointed this out but, the Odrysians and Triballi have the wrong generals assigned to them. The starting ones are Thracian generals, but all the new ones that are...
Give him a break, the guys got a wife and kid(s), some health issues and a massively ambitious modding project going on. Just let him work on it in peace without having to check in here every other...
Sometime after we overhaul all the main rosters we'll probably release a navy overhaul for all factions, so yeah at some point we will.
I feel like you should never apologize to anyone for late replies or such when you put out this kind of work for no charge at all. You da man, just do what you do and no one has anything to complain...
Make sure you're running all parts of the latest version. If you are, it should be displaying correctly.
Yeah of course. Just not clear when at this point. What we probably should do in he meantime though is assign similar tier land units that we've actually worked on as the naval units until we...
Yeah that's probably our fault. We haven't done an actual overhaul of naval units so they're probably looking a bit whack in general at this point.
