I don't think Benjin's Generals mods work with this either... My generals aren't wearing capes in Winter, and some of them seem to have applied Instant-growth beard cream.

I'm curious how slingstones would fare in this situation. I can certainly see how a moving sarrisa could deflect arrows and javelins, but small squat projectiles like slingstones or glandes without a...
Holy  this thread is amazingly relevant...
I was knocking back chocolate milk whilst playing DEI. Are you a stalker!
I am not entirely sure what you mean by sharp-edged glandes unless you are referring to the Cypriot finds which feature lead projectiles with bronze blades projecting from the 'wings'. Lead glandes...
Technically, most projectiles (Be they javelin, slingstone or arrow) should be capable of 'penetration' through cataphract armour, just not always via perforation (Blunt force trauma etcetera)....
So will Benjin be working on this too?
I wanna see Alexander with shiny golden locks! He doesn't need a helmet, his marvelous hair is capable of warding off spear thrusts and slingstones and...
I hope these new-fangled throwing axes come with projectile bounce... :whistling
Just saying... It would be pretty cool... and totally balanced. Regardless, I cannot wait to try these new guys out!
I see it as a positive too, Dresden.
It's always nice to mix up the people I have to kill, Sometimes killing the Seleucids gets boring. If it comes by a surprise invasion like Hannibal crossing...

Having slings with more moral impact would certainly be a feasible idea, though it should only affect 'Sling 3' projectiles in the proj_tables list In my honest opinion.

They really love the Roman bread and wine, I guess.
If a 'tube-and-yoke' cuirass was made from rawhide (And likely not leather), it is quite likely that it would have been referred to as being a 'Spolas' rather than a Linothorax.

Alright fine, I'm game.
Let's do this thing!
I personally love the slingers. Sure, they take some time to get kills, but they are the few longer-ranged weapon users that have Armour piercing damage, which I feel makes them more useful when it...
My thoughts on what would be pretty cool additions, though I imagine this could be done a lot further down the line.
Things which I think would be great:
*Have some Greek units play Aulos,...
Hi team, Please remove Pontus!
Another thing which I think is missing is unit aesthetics. Granted, a lot of the units look damned good in AE, but from my last playthrough of DEI, I thought that the new Polybian roman units in the...

Two turns away from getting Marian troops research!
Well then, I guess I better go to the Kessel region to get my spices...
Of course, I will try to avoid any... Imperial entanglements.

Hey, don't forget the Kretans, they'd be very remiss to hear that you forgot about them.
Composite bows are not significantly more powerful than longbows, they generally have faster velocities but not to a significant degree (Except in the case of flight arrows et cetera). It seems that...

Wouldn't it be more likely to be the Spolas, rather than Linothorax?
If I remember correctly, the Linothorax was considered to be an exotic, foreign tube-yoke armour that was used in Egypt and the...
That sounds awesome.
I have to admit, my largest worry in this mod was on how the combat would work, and having my plate-armoured knights getting killed by longbowmen at the very extent of their...
