I'm not sure if it works anymore, but here's a thread with a link to a mod and also an explanation of what was changed:
...
The Huns respawn until Attila is dead.
One gameplay element is the development of larger alliances due to not that many cultural groups.
Are you talking about the fog of war? You have to go explore.
It should be under processes, not applications.
I was the attacking navy in one battle and near the end of the battle a timer will pop up and tell you to land or you'll lose. So if they can't land just put the fast forward on and wait.
Radious mod still has the vanilla units, but with tweaked stats and cost. The unit pack is optional. There's a better AI mod but it does a lot of stuff. You can ask about the AI minimum attack ratio....
Yes, you can do this with the PackFileManager program. It's under the data/fame levels table. You can change amount of governorships too.
Never had it. The AI just waits it out on the walled cities.
I don't like that there's wall destruction if there is no artillery in the siege army. It makes no sense.
This sometimes happens to me and I just have to restart the game.
In the tabletop game for every spell cast the opponent can try to dispel it. You get a higher chance if you have a wizard. So it's definitely something they can try to be creative with in the Total...
I wouldn't be surprised if there were unit limits and multiple turn recruitment for WH. There are max unit limits for the tabletop game.
Well it wouldn't be. But there are a small group of people on this forum trying to front any reason to whine about TW:WH.
I'm not saying they're going to stop at buffs and de-buffs. But for anyone who thinks that magic is going to be game breaking, there's already a form of magic in the current TW games.
ASOIAF and Warhammer would both make fun games. Imagine if the Golden Company was an entire army you could hire. Fun times.
As for Warhammer magic, there's already a lot of magic type stuff in...
Everyone at war is too simplistic a definition of the Warhammer universe. There are factions that have a strong hatred for each other (cultural/species aversion) and for specific actions (betray the...
ASOIAF and Dragon Age both have quite a few factions that could fill a TW game. In ASOIAF in Westeros there are 8+ factions with 4 cultures. And then in Essos there are the free cities, slaver...
There's a separate forum for modding questions. I'm also not sure what you're talking about specifically. The .pack files?
It takes more planning and skill to develop a fantastical war game than it does a historical one but they can be built on the same base. Take everything from Attila. All the infantry, cavalry,...
The exaggerated proportions and silhouettes are done for visual identification from a couple feet away from a table top. Video game titles will do it as well, just look at any of Blizzard's RTS...
I think it'll be too much for people who only play total war historical games and are interested in only historical things. But for everyone else, we're pretty good at jumping between different...
The WH fantasy world has a lot more weird cultures than Tolkien's world. If CA said they were either going to make a Tolkien TW game or a WH TW game, I'd choose WH. As for taking any fantasy world...
Dual level map if they really wanted to try. In Warhammer Skaven (the ratmen) live underground too.
You're pretty much the spirit of your faction. When the king shows up in promotions that means other people are actually blocking that promotion. The King can decree a promotion using influence. The...
Considering CA has difficulty getting features right that have been in the games for a long time I expect that a whole bunch of new features they'll need for Warhammer will be severely broken on...
Start building more food buildings or de-leveling high food cost buildings (like highest level city/town). When I invaded Britain as the Geats I took over 3 regions simultaneously and my food went...
Better family tree UI.
Units that can scale walls.
Bribing mercenaries.
There's a mod that eliminates the Hun spam script. I played two campaigns (as non Huns) and the first one the Huns died before Attila came of age. And the second, Attila came of age, but the Huns had...
Only if I build armies to march out far away with inexperienced generals. Integrity would drop for a few armies doing that in my Sassanid campaign. But overall integrity hasn't been a problem. I've...
Attila, it has a family tree.
Desert Nomads, Eastern Kingdoms, Emergent Factions out of Roman Empire.
Looks like the mod hasn't been updated for the Celts DLC. Hopefully Hunor will get around to updating it.
Playing as the Sassanids, Sogdian Warriors and Royal Archers. I like archers that wear a lot of armor.
Try arranging a marriage with another faction and offer them a lot of money.
I'd like a desert nomads pack.
I hope they fix the legio levy bug
It'll say heir in the marriage box in the diplomatic box. Once he's married to your daughter he'll have the little heir crown thing.
I'd like bigger maps and more varied terrain. The other things can be reasonably done right now with mods.
And they just revealed the celt pack. Right on time.
I'm surprised CA hasn't revealed another faction pack DLC yet.
