What if two legions get weakened, I think it would be OK to used 5 legio v cohorts and 5 legio I cohorts, if I organise them as two diferent armies, and not in the same formation.

For pre marius you can't realy have auxilia, as every soilder is a roman citezen.

I say vh/h, as vh in battles makes the unit balancing in vain, but vh in campain means that the AI are tough.

I don't get seiged, if I do I'm in trouble, my garrisons are useually pretty small, but I have legions deefending the rout to my cities, if a enemy gets through I'm in trouble.

I think Apoc let something slip, the King heir Adunubar trait, and disinherited one aren't working. It's easy to fix though.

Slower battles are better, gives you time to out manouver the enemy.

I let the AI have my reinforcements, makes it alot harder when I'm the commander of one legion, and the commander of the other is not doing what I want!

I've played both, SPQR battles are far more challanging.

Yeah, I played some of the older spar rome, and this is the best.

I had this error, I had just renamed my ci folder, (makes no difference) but then as I couldn't get it to work, I copied the new TNS files over,save event_images, and it worked, amazingly enough.

SPQR was never a realism mod.
