Poll: Re: Did God Create the Universe?

    Yep, my DNA.

Lemme see...theoretical physics are still long way off from a complete field. Well, whole science is, but that's beside the point right now. For example, the current hit of...

Poll: Re: The Most Logical Religion

You see the words, but you don't see the meaning. Re-read what I wrote until you understand. You didn't explicitely use the word miracle, but the meaning was there all the same.

    Re-read,...

Poll: Re: Did God Create the Universe?

And here you are wrong. There's plenty of gaps, and it's the principle of science that even established theory can be replaced with something new, more accurate (see how Einstenian physics replaced...

Poll: Re: Did God Create the Universe?

The so-called "god of impossibility" is still just god of the gaps. I drew a clear parallel with the fifth postulate. For nearly 2000 years, it was in the same position. Apparently unexplainable. And...

Poll: Re: Did God Create the Universe?

You're so close, yet so wrong. I'll use your example to illustrate. When religious person sees such man walking on the sun, he'll say it's a miracle and will pray. A scientist will investigate...

You posted what you claim is proof of Qur'an's authenticity. And you can prove religion only by miracle, that is an event that can be explained only by that specific religion. What you gave is not...

Poll: Re: Did God Create the Universe?

A little piece of history and philosophy of science is in order here.

To illustrate the issue...I'm sure you've heard of the old mathematician named Euclid. I won't bother you with details, but...

Poll: Re: The Most Logical Religion

All this proves that some thought was given to Qu'ran's composition as a piece of art. Nothing else. It's no miracle.

Just a question, what's the difference between Bible and Qu'ran that makes the latter, as you believe, impervious to corruption?

Poll: Re: The Most Logical Religion

    I'm just curious.

You believe that Earth is 6000 years or so old and believe that mankind and all organisms were created in their current form. So where's room for neanderthals, or dinosaurs...

I think you misunderstand what stance OP means.

There are essentially three stances for spearman. Overarm is similar to throwing stance, with thumb pointing backward, stabbing down (that's how EB2...

Re: Religion - when should people learn about it.

Do you realize that such thing is impossible, because, since you believe that god is omnipotent, the number of possible universes is, by your beliefs, infinite?

Poll: Re: The Most Logical Religion

    No religion is logical.

It's simple. We all take some...presuppositions. Objective, shared reality and our senses that reflect it, supposing that other people are real, causality...those are few...
  14. Re: builder's KGCM submod MORE UNITS, SLOWER BUILDING

  15. Re: builder's KGCM submod MORE UNITS, SLOWER BUILDING

So, I've decided to take a look at this. Looking good at first glance, but there's a few things...

You haven't played Gothic and Elder Scrolls series? They are not isometric RPGs, but definitely a gems worth playing. (well, except for Gothic III, at least from what I've heard)

Re: England vs France: Unit Rosters

Fanatics should be available to every Catholic faction. They're a cheap filler to be recruited during Crusades to replenish the losses. I think every Muslim faction got something similar.
  18. Re: Game of Thrones: TV Series - Season 4 (Book spoilers in tags with warning)

Geez. Like the rules of succession were set in stone. They aren't, they're in people's heads, and that can be changed. And that's what the war really was about.

Look at Renly. He had no claim, but...

  20. Poll: Re: Would you like to live in a world without Christians, Jews and Muslims?

World without religion would be much better. Less cause for divides among people.

World without faith, on the other hand, would be screwed up.

Factions: Eriador (me) vs. Orcs of Misty...

Re: Apostates in Islam: to kill or not to kill?

The biggest issue with Islam, way overshadowing others, is this simple thing:

According to muslim beliefs, Qu'ran is direct word of god, an unchangeable law for all eternity, and Muhammad, after...
  32. Re: MOS, the ultimate TATW experience.. version 1.6.2 for Third Age 3.2 released 25th Dec.

There are some things you can do to make game challenging. Try not activating any script that buffs evil factions, but all that buff good ones and turtle up in the beginning.
  33. Re: MOS, the ultimate TATW experience.. version 1.6.2 for Third Age 3.2 released 25th Dec.

Since Stylix is currently MIA, there are just sub-submods like dIRECTOR's cut being developed.

  36. Re: Game of Thrones: TV Series - Season 4 (Book spoilers in tags with warning)

Nice piece of foreshadowing by Littlefinger there:

    Joffrey

    In their beds,
    Robert Baratheon

    squatting over their chamber pots.
    Major book spoiler. You've...
  37. Re: MOS, the ultimate TATW experience.. version 1.6.2 for Third Age 3.2 released 25th Dec.

Most likely this is a bug with extended map. Archet is a village north of Bree. It doesn't make sense for Arnor to have that settlement, but in normal map it is a sensible requirement.
  38. Re: MOS, the ultimate TATW experience.. version 1.6.2 for Third Age 3.2 released 25th Dec.

Hm. What are the conditions for Fangorn's autonomy? I am still playing as Gondor and finally managed to get both settlements there. But a couple turns later, still I hear nothing about it.

    Also,...
  39. Re: MOS, the ultimate TATW experience.. version 1.6.2 for Third Age 3.2 released 25th Dec.

Well...there are still things bugging me about my Gondor campaign.

I ran into a little strange situation with Fangorn. I called a meeting and got units that I used to get Wellinghall, but Rohan...
  40. Re: MOS, the ultimate TATW experience.. version 1.6.2 for Third Age 3.2 released 25th Dec.

So I started a Gondor campaign, and two things are odd.

First, I did the Journeyman RPG, and when he respawned as Loremaster, he had no traits or retinue. There was a red arrow pointing nearby, so...
