Playing as England I noticed all characters lose their nicknames/titles after the 1st turn, for example an adopted/coming of age character called Edward "of Exeter" becomes just Edward next turn, any...
So why was this left half done, and more importantly why are core game mechanics fixes being released as 'submods'? this being only one of them.
Well here's another thing, theres no penalty whatsoever for characters leading armies without Imperium , which makes the whole elections mechanics useless or purely for roleplay, unless you count...
Well, thanks for your quick attention, I don't know why I bothered posting here, and btw Quintus, that freeze on factions turn I reported on with a whole thread, but as always it was ignored, I guess...
Ok, the script outputs a empty file, so I guess this is lost until the author comes back or some one else feels like scripting..
So I'm serious when I say this does keep happening, yet again, the general unit was heavily engaged only to end up with "Doubtful courage". Is there something I am missing here? It's ironic if I have...
The first crash was due to a submod which I removed, the changing resolution while loading battles just fixed itself..
I don't know why or how this happened but a couple of my leading generals got a coward trait, one of which happened right after a battle where he was was heavily engaged and lost most of his...
Hi myarta, i hope you didn't take this the wrong way, I was referring to field battles only, sieges are nice and challenging, mainly that its a little too easy to rout that mass of infantry charging...
To be totally honest, AI is a weakness in EBII, mainly the BAI, but the thing is AI has always been the weakest part of any TW game and was always like this till they improved it in the very latest...
when you spend half an hour deciding which government to build and still cant make up your mind, and then find out you have to pick a temple too :hmm:
That is going to be a hard, there's barely 5 stacks in existence and most of them are in cities..
Just to be sure, as the Romani I need to have battles with 10+ units vs Carthage, do they need to be field battles or do sieges count?
Thanks, it doesn't matter which building does it as long as there is a way for conversion. Although I didnt see that building in the tree, is it a special building that I get notifications for?
Soo.. any one know the answer to this?
Currently I can recruit Roman Principes and Hastati from almost all over italy at game start, are these placeholders or is it meant to be this way?
Apparently, for all those years, the more you know :) anyway its still better to have minimal losses and regularly retrain, if for no other reason than to supply fodder with your experienced soldiers.
Are you sure about this? unit cards of even heavily depleted units will be retrained with the same shevrons, if shevrons show the average experience of a unit why doesn't it change with a unit of...
Nevermind again... some strange things are happening including the the game changing resolution while loading battles and then gets stretched to my native screen resolution, the units are so...
I will give it a try, if i get it to work i'l tell here..
I edited the files and it seems to work but they all have this big empty space in their descriptions, any one know why this happens?
b0gia, does your mod still have positive character traits, or is it not needed any more?
I know Im a little late to be asking random gameplay questions but Im still playing and knowing the game mechanics and using them to my advantage is half the fun so here it goes:
1- Are bonus...
It depends if this is only for 1 unit or more comprehensive roster of imperial era legions? if so Im all for it, although It would be so far into the game that I think Il never reach it :hmm:.
I see, so one general only per army? if so Im abusing that pretty hard.
For the Camillian armies there is a cavalry unit called "BG aka extrodinarii" but I cant find anything like that ingame?
For me its the little things that make up the atmosphere, reading about things and getting to know the world back then is half the fun.
Thanks alot, I will definitely try them out :thumbsup2
More active/aggressive AI.
and maybe ships.
hammeredalways provides again.
Is Greece one of those 'emerging factions'? Id like to try it and Norway in a campaign.
Sorry, but what does this bit mean?
Also I still dont get unit descriptions for the new units, there was no \empire total war\data\DME\Subs\ folder, I made one but doesnt seem to work.
hi Bran, Just wondering does the mod affect ships accuracy? as in improve it a bit? I dont want vanilla level accuracy but just to raise it than what it is now, wasting 3/4 of each volley and...
Thanks, I installed and seemed to be working fine but crashes happen on AI's turn. I added the extra regions in Dagestan ..etc not sure if this causes it.
Edit: never mind, I was starting in-game...
hi, quick question, is the mod save-compatible for vanilla DME saves?
Is there any mod that allows to force the AI in diplomacy? I'm trying to force Poland to be my protectorate as Prussia.
So first off, Im am pretty clueless when it comes to naval battles, it is laughable how bad I am with ships, and Im not nearly that bad on land battles. In my Prussia campaign Im trying to build a...
No but I will try, thanks.
