Well arent you the sunshine
I actually found it to be acceptable and if not misstaken an improvement over aftershock. Lets see what the end result will bring tommorow.
Sorry! :P
Never did play the first UFO game but I did play terror from the deep and the base managing with all the production, research and cash was great. I remember how I had in the later parts...
It´s a pity though that you can only play 10 days (thats days in the game and not regular real life days)
I downloaded the demo from Gamershell.com but you could go to the game homepage at www.ufo-afterlight.com and download from one of the links.
To my shame I have never played the first UFO only...
I know what you mean. This is why you should try out the demo for Afterlight there are lots of game mecanics in there that at least bring back more of the old UFO feeling. The graphics are silly at...
So has anyone tried the demo of this game? I found it to be the closest to the old UFO game so far. Better than the two previous UFO titles Aftermath and what’s it math.
Congrats! Like the idea of flamethrowing Byzantines :)
I´m just waiting for the opportunity to knife people to death and get their dog tags.
Like I said on a previous thread regarding this subject, the demo and this game look sweet. The assasin aspect reminds me almost of the theif games.
A demo would be wery nice right about soon.
I have the collectors edition and there are only two discs, one game disc and one bonus disc and both of them are DVD´s.
I agree, the sword fights of this excelence would have been great in Oblivion.
I loved the conversations among the enemy.
Not use the bullet time!!! Do you realise how slippery and shooty those arses are! :wallbash:
I´m just kidding, but the AI is a good opponent in sp.
You can see that in the demo mission. You get 6 "points" and you can spend it on several attributes or skills like archery, blade , sneak, magick and a dozen misc skills. Let me just ad that kicking...
I just hope the citys will also be defendable.
But will there also be punishment for not kompleting the task?
Mmmmm...stakes! :)
Looks great!
Those were some damn good pics! Looking forward to the city/castle thing.
Yeah the pike formation sounds sweet!
I can almost see how a charge with some decent troops is going to put an end to those guns. :shifty:
I think you are correct the culverine had a smaller barrel.
He was but the king took away his Privies title. :laughter:
The old tilte giving system from MTW was briliant and one of the things i missed in Rome.
Looks ok.
Perhaps Booom, but the peasants have a 50:1 chance of not even seeing the canonball coming close.
I have actually never cared much for medieval arty. But looks good.
From what i have read and seen so far, me like much.
Makes me wana go Illyrian on someones a**!
Sweden only kicked in during the 1700 century and only lasted for a hundered years. Norway became a Danish "province" after the viking era.
Since this is not a unit cap off sorts, more like: wasting your nobility in a battle and having to wait some time for the little youngsters to grow into new knights: sounds damn attractive. And...
I havent read any off this earlier, but it sure sounds good!
I want to see not only Byzantian units but also their town/castle arcitecture.
I find both off these leaders to be off equal grandnes. But if threatened with execution i would go for Richard cour de lion.
God! Dont remind me off all those little biremes with ten dudes on board who kept tormenting my nerves. :laughter:
That is if one can "counter" together the enormous pile off cash to counter with an enormous processor. :tooth:
I have tried both but i somehow still like the Japanese person speaking english with a musty accent :)
The map looks great. Brings back fond memories off VI
Units do look good but it will be interesting to see wht the mod-comunity can do.
I still believe in you!
The Byzantines look great, but then to me anything Byzantine looks great. :)
