Re: GameSpy Shutting Down on May 31st

Gamespy was always a pain the ass to work with and I'll probably be able to more easily play older games online now that it is dead. I'm reminded of that old Ubisoft one that you had to originally...

    Re: Cheats or no cheats?

You have to enable cheats in the launcher options in order for them to work, but yes it does work on Steam versions of the games.

I hope the translation is eventually released. I remember playing previous versions of this mod years ago and finding it really enjoyable; It's also good to see that Platnium saw release as well :)

Re: Is 59.99 to much for a new pc title?

It is when the quality of the majority of said-priced titles is lacking. I usually wait until it drops down to the $30-40 range before I pick it up, or lower for some of the really "meh" games.

  17. Re: Festung Europa: the next great tactical WW2 shooter?

It'd be cool to see some of the battlefields in an area such as Spain or the Balkans. You very rarely (if ever really) see those depicted in any way aside from games such as Hearts of Iron or mods.
