Once I was having dinner with two friends at the campus center, one Orthodox Christian, one atheist, me Muslim. A girl with a smile approached us. Asked us if we'd be interested in a bible reading or...
They had their differences but they were friends.
You can't argue that PYD is merely wanting autonomy while also winking at the idea of Kurds forming a full state in the region. Autonomy is just a fancy neutral word they're using anyways. They're...
Here I thought PYD was not about creating a new state...

That doesn't address what I asked about.
I have never been attacked on TWC for wanting to stay on-topic before... You've asked your questions about Greece and Turkey, and made your points....
What's the point trying to pull the thread into a Greek vs. Turk bickering with questions and issues that have already been addressed?
They're quite different but carry on by all means... You mean Turkey wants a part of Syria? What's the piece of pie you're talking about?

Based on what? That map? It only shows the location of Turkmen villages with respect to who control where. It coincides with ISIL, FSA, Assad and Kurdic controlled regions.

There is defending your country's position, then there is making stuff up to actively propagate a false story... Your talk of TV teams being on the border at the time of the shooting ignores the fact...

Approaching your airspace, not identifying yourself, not responding to multiple warnings is enough for any state to perceive a plane as hostile. Whether the missile hit the plane in Turkish airspace...

You're claiming it as a fact. You gotta have some direct evidence. Bunch of trucks carrying weapons is easy target for pictures.

Two SU-24s. It doesn't matter if both did or just one did. If one jet didn't pick the message the other one would.
I didn't dismiss your unresponsive plane response. Your whole response to the...

There were two planes. You're suggesting that both planes malfunctioned at the same time?
You may intimidate a partially cooperating plane to fly in a certain direction, but you have no means to...

It's not an organization that I like much but the material at hand only implicates some of its members, not the organization entirely. The carrying weapons to Syria part especially, the Wiki you...

Yes, yes, sweeping accusations always work. You should have made such concrete arguments from post one...
There is recording of the warnings broadcasted on GUARD frequency. Not sure what proof do...

I don't base my facts on what he says. Sorry. However, in that case the plane was fired at while it was turning away from Syria as it was warned by Turkish command that it strayed into Syria. Syria,...

If you merely questioned his claim you might have had some credibility, but, you also made a claim. The burden of proof lies much more heavily on you as you're the one claiming foul play for those...
One incident. Warning shot. It's been said that Turkey has been violating Syrian airspace to bomb Kurds as if part of a grand bombing campaign.
I was talking about systems to figure out if the plane is unresponsive because of technical malfunction or not.
That could be one way to deal with it, but 10 warnings are enough warnings. You...
The ones you're not posting?
Common sense? Where is the common sense in thinking that you can escort an unidentified unresponsive fighter jet to anywhere? Turks are far far away from...
Source on NATO saying that Turkey could have escorted the plane? Nobody posted anything on rules of engagement as well.
Turkmen rebels shooting the parachuting pilots has no relation to the story...
They also announced that they're gonna release campaign map video.

Why don't you show how a fighter jet, that doesn't identify itself, or doesn't responds to warnings, entering a foreign airspace is handled? No nation will allow a military vessel enter its airspace...
Even the map Russians cooked up shows the jet to be covering distance after it's hit. The video doesn't show a plane that'd dropping like a rock either. The trajectory has a slope.

You don't seem to understand that neither your now my opinion on the matter means anything. It's what the official Greek and Turkish position matter and make this a disputed issue. You're merely...

It's really not that hard to delete redundant empty lines in a quote...
1) Russian planes did not need to bomb Turkish civilians to be regarded as threat. Unidentified military vessels that...
This trailer seems to show some footage of the campaign map as well. The siege shot looks exceptionally nice.

From ICAO, Article 3(c):
This basically requires permission for any aircraft to fly over someone's airspace. That de facto requires you to identify yourself.

The American sample acts a little differently compared to other countries. Looking at electability of one candidate could yield misleading results. After all, a lot of people don't vote in USA. The...

You want me to find international laws on something nobody talked about? Or, you want me to find international laws on the requirement for a foreign plane to identify itself and get permission before...

Well, thanks for giving the Greek position on the border dispute with Turkey. Turkey thinks otherwise. Using UNCLOS have always been a valid point anyways as Turkey is not a signatory.
They're intercepted and escorted out if they're neutral and identified. The Russian jet was not an identified craft for it to be neutral.
Greek airspace "violations" are not done over recognized borders. They're done over disputed islands. The airspace violation of the Russian jet was done over a recognized border. Because of that...
Maybe it was the Martians who shot down the plane and the Turks are their proxy rebel group on Earth.
So, jihadists are automatically terrorists according to you?
An unidentified military vessel that is not responding to warnings heading your airspace poses no threat?
How do you know they tried to contact the Russian jet with mere "radio signals"?
No, it doesn't sound weird to tell incoming unidentified planes that they're approaching someone else's airspace. That's what is done. It's not something that you can decide.
None of that...
Saying that warnings before violations means nothing is just ridiculous. It defies logic and reason.
What makes the map from the Russian video more accurate? The two maps it shows aren't even...
1) Russia was warned about airspace violations in October.
2) The Russian plane was warned 10 times within 5 minutes.
3) The Russian plane did not return any contact attempt by Turkish pilots.
