Nope, it just says "a problem caused the program to stop working correctly." It doesn't matter which pack file I try to open either.
I'm using Windows 10 and I can't open any db files. As soon as I click on one, PFM stops working. I can read script files just fine. Using PFM 4.1 and schema 74.

This one, "zw_remove_vp.7z" removes all capture points, which means gates and towers. You want to use "zw_remove_vp_keep_cp.7z" which will leave those in. Not sure if that still works, you'll have to...

I opened the pack, it's only UI stuff. So yes, it was already there.
This removes the xp gain for your army when a Champion is embedded in your army. He can still join to provide the other bonuses though, unlike the previous mod. The tooltips for traits and skills...

Some feedback on governor experience. I've seen ai generals up to level 4, and with military skills. These guys have done nothing the whole game except sit in their cities. That's kind of annoying....

Any chance to get a version where coastal battles still have VP? The AI has issues disembarking sometimes and I'll end up losing a battle because of one stupid unit I can't attack
