Where do we find all of the bonuses using rpfm?
What submods? The only submod I know of that truly makes mid/late game still a challenge is Testudo. Everything else, and I do believe I've tried it all doesn't really do it.
To OP: Try Ancient...
So it seems as though Testudo won't really be receiving any more significant updates any time soon, perhaps ever?
Time to move on to Ancient Empires I suppose (as Testudo was the only thing keeping...
Hmm, so what exactly does this mean? What needs to be updated and would it really be that bad playing the last version with current version of DEI?
What version of DEI are you using? Testudo is not up to date with newest version.
You are aware that Testudo is not up to date with the current version of DEI?
Is this "normal?" To have dead soldiers that are on their knees that never actually fall down. Some battles there are far fewer than others. Often I have battles in which there are so many it's...
Yes, I too would really like for there to be the option to give regions to AI.
There are two major issues with that.
1. The AI won't be liberating as vassals as I am (yet another advantage for player, which DEI is already too easy without Testudo)
2. Cyanides mod would have...
This doesn't seem to allow one to liberate as vassal though. Ie. when you conquer a region there is the "liberate" option. Which creates the local faction as an ally, but NOT as a vassal (satrapy or...
Would it be possible to maybe have a submod to liberate as vassal (satrapy or client state) instead of ally. I recall it being mentioned this would not be difficult, but would be a nice optional...
Very much look forward to it myself as well Jake. No worries on the time, your work as always is very much appreciated.
Is this working with the new release of 1.7. Also, is DAI Arbitris somewhere to be found?? (or however it was spelled)
Is this working with 1.27? (according to above, perhaps not?)
Updated links and posting them here:
These are necessary: (As in battles are incredibly lack luster without them to me now)

Testudo absolutely belongs here. It made more significant changes to DEI than anything else I have played. Making the campaign MUCH more of a challenge without just buffing the AI more. Of course...
What is that suppose to be Jake? Another population mechanic? Doubtful it has anything to do with trading regions...but hopeful. And hopeful Testudo gets more attention than the rome666 campaign...
Well, ROR looks interesting but I assume that is taking up most of your time then so Testudo will be somewhat placed on the backburner?
Just checking in Jake, to see how things progress and what we might hope for in next update.
Always hoping that trade regions and the warscore/improved diplomacy might be implemented to return to...
Testudo without a doubt for me mate. Realism I felt was far too easy (much like base DeI) once you start to steam roll and have a lot of money it's just a tedious snow ball routine. Testudo however,...
This is the main thing I wish we could have with Rome 2/DEI/Testudo....is for a better diplomacy system and at least somewhat reasonable AI regarding diplomacy. Maybe....just maybe even a warscore...
Well, what do you think of Three kingdoms TW? Any mods akin to DeI you've played with?
Personally I haven't been able to get into it. The UI is worse in many ways and the retinue system sort of...
Huzzah, very glad to read this mate. I have actually held off on playing Rome II/DEI/Testudo until those are implemented (some form of better diplo), because I just can't take the till the death AI...
The unit stuttering is common to TW, especially Rome II. There's not much you can do about that (the camera stutter is distinct). You can however try turning off the command flags in the game/battle...
Salve Jake,
If I recall there was talk of a warscore type system you might implement and also a geographical based diplo limiter of sorts? (maybe the latter could just be for declaring war)
Is...
I would still rather have the later than the former (ie. more logical/rational diplo AI)....
Regardless of small factions declaring war on larger ones, even when equal factions or larger factions...
Will there ever be any hope of having similar diplo AI in Rome II as we have in the newer TW titles? The AI in Rome II will literally go to war until they are utterly obliterated with no options for...
That's alright, so long as the trade regions makes it in....
This would be amazing in Testudo....(especially the buffer state). This, with the limited AI diplo options based on distance and finally a trade regions would be INCREDIBLE.
I think I've thanked...
Incredible Jake! As always you've promptly provided us with magnificence itself.
Looking forward to the alternative hoplite/phalanx and especially the trading regions (hoping that is in store?)
...
Huzzah! Many thanks yet again Jake.
I noticed the trade regions submod...and you responded
Does this mean that we will soon have a version of this for testudo???? That would be AMAZING. ...
huzzah!
That's fine about the alt. pack, I just saw that he'd mentioned updating the hoplite/phalanx (which is the only one I personally use) and assumed it was fully updated (that one at least)....
I just don't think most of us play factions like the Galatians that much...
Media, yes I see that overlooked the overhaul.
But what about Takshashila? Again, being a DeI unique faction that...
Aside from maybe Bakrtia and Nervi (the latter lesser so) I very much think these factions would be overall a much better addition.
Taksashila -It's unique to DeI and has three major factions...
Your child death rate is compatible with base DeI and other mods as stated, but is it save game compatible?
Jake, would the AI arbitirs version you posted in here work with base DEI and/or the new beta?
Ah, so those were made FOR the newest beta version. Well then, I suppose that gives me an excuse to use the beta version in the multiplayer campaign we're about to start.
And you said cultural...
Should this be stable enough to start a new MP campaign with? Wondering if I should use this or the current version of DeI and just wait for this to become current version.
Thanks Dardo, also where is your version of Alternative Economy? (I presume that's compatible with this as well, and curious how it differs from the base AE)
EDIT:
I think I found it in the AE...
