The danes speak swedish in Napoleon afaik...but it's a long time ago I played it. But they definently don't speak danish. I would remember as I am danish :p
uhm... just open the buildings browser to see which buildings you need for the units you want..
like the others says.. just attack the desolate settlement.. it will cost you about 9-10k and about 40% of your army to recolonise it.
Danes... because I'm danish :E
After that.. the Huns.. because they seem badass.. the gothic factions also seem interesting.
Well if it is the last historical based game (which I doubt) it will also be my last.
Not interested in fantasy, warhammer etc at all.
A turn takes like 20 sec for me.. even on 200 turns.
Works for me
Wait..
22mgb... 2+2 = 4
8 posts in here... 8+4 = 12
Wait for it... 12 / 4 = 3
Half Life 3 confirmed!
Hm true the basic spearmen and clubs are kinda bad ... but you should progress pretty fast and be able to get Wodanaz spears, Night Raiders, Berserkers and Sword Masters. Maybe mix in some slingers,...
If they make anything close to fantasy/LoTR im :wub:in done.
That one is called Rome 2 - Bacon Barbeque DLC
That explains it :E
Seriously? .. It's moving by itself... no soldiers touching it.. derp
@Duncan III : I hope so o_o
I got the point ;D ... and yes the tortoise is just half assed like everything in this game xD

Haven't seen any yet..im on turn 150ish... kinda boring to only fight factions with 1 or 2 towns .. and Rome has like 1 city left.. was looking forward to fight them.. but oh well >_>
Interesting :E
I've stopped paying attetion to my generals since they die "next turn" anyway Lol.. so fail game design
Lol... people are still moaning about steam?
Suebi... all their units are the same.. they basically have.. dudes with spears, dudes with clubs, dudes on horses -.-
They need some axe units, two-handed axes/clubs, short-swords (kinda like...
Just gain imperium/influence by coquering etc.
Bugged game is bugged basically.
What happens if you take your army and try to attack one of their towns? Can't do that either?

It's obviously not a bug when they have animated the torches xD lol... but it should be removed. Now.
No . Well it looks nothing like torches... the way they fly in air the just looks hilarious and unreal.. and it's basically a stupid addition to the game making sieges even more broken than they...
There is no reason.. you can just throw magic flame things at the gate and burn it down... yeh.. CA went full on retard this time.
They already have.. there is a 90+ page thread going on on the official forum..
http://forums.totalwar.com/showthread.php/87571-Video-Total-War-Rome-II-Angry-Review/page95?
Theres already a huge thread on this... maybe search before you post. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?619851-Video-Review-Total-War-Rome-II-Angry-Review
Amazing review Joe! ... hope SOMEONE at CA watch this and :wub:in slap their own face
Atm I use Wodanaz spears, Berserkers, slingers and Blood brothers (I think thats the name.. forgot tbh..they have clubs and axes).
And dealing with their missiles.. well.. I use my own ranged...
Hmm.. true about the missiles units.. cause Suebi has bad armor.. But I don't find it difficult. My normal Suebi army destroys veteran Roman stacks... seems a bit bugged :E
My friend list is the other way aroudn tbh.. I have 33 friends on Rome II atm..
Personally I find factions that dont have allies and just steamroll all their towns at the same time.
Can someone tell me which buildings are good to build in capital.. and which are good to build in province? Some guy mentioned that you should never build military in the capital.. he never said why...
My campaign is doing fine.. but I still find it a stupid design decesion.. why the hell would I send a general to deal with some rebels or the remains of a conquered enemy force?..
And also this...
I agree.. it feels very small.. I dont know what it is...the amount of towns..the coridors?... Im playing as Suebi and Im able to exspand ridicoulously fast. I just played this weekend and all of a...
I just use the standard ones so far.. the Suebi names are pretty bad ass as they are :p
