Apparently the LFP isn't known for being push-overs in cases like this, but then again, money can buy you everything but love.

Sticky: Poll: Re: 2015/16 English Premier League

Klopp and Simeone are better than every tactician in England since Rafa, bar perhaps Mourinho (who is a good tactician but a horrible stratege)

And while Liverpool is closer to the top four than...

Sticky: Poll: Re: 2015/16 English Premier League

I don't agree. Both Atletico and Dortmund are huge clubs and were huge clubs before Klopp and Simeone. They are comparable to Liverpool. The club was bigger than the results. If Rodgers win the...

Sticky: Poll: Re: 2015/16 English Premier League

Well, to paraphrase a certain douche, Mourinho is a top manager for sure, but he's not a top, top manager.

In the PL era there's only been two of those: Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger.

    Since...
  6. Re: Fantasy Football League 2015/16 (kicks off 8/8/15)

Stupid enough to choose Ibe over Mahrez. Hope Ibe does what he's never done tomorrow or that he doesn't get a minute. I bet he'll get 10 minutes and do nothing...

    Next week: Rooney -> Agüero.
  7. Re: Stellaris - New Sci-Fi Grand Strategy by Paradox

I am not comparing them content wise but the selling points are comparable.

Sticky: Poll: Re: 2015/16 English Premier League

That was great. The substitutions really improved the team. I like to think Firmino's first action in a Liverpool shirt was to trip a Stoke defender.

Benteke's role became more important towards...
  10. Re: Stellaris - New Sci-Fi Grand Strategy by Paradox

It seems more in-depht and random than other games in the genre. That's what interests me. And also scares me, because whenever something is really in-depth and "random" it isn't. Hello Spore.
  11. Re: Fantasy Football League 2015/16 (kicks off 8/8/15)

I was contemplating if I should have Robert Huth or Mahrez from Leicester. Guess which one I picked :shothead:

I heard on a podcast we have two wildcards to play this year. One before January and one after. True?
  13. Re: New Paradox IP to be revealed at Gamescom - Code named "Augustus"

It sounds super-mega awesome. On the level of "I don't ever have to buy another game EVER".

Will probably crash and burn and become fairly bland. The concept is awesome though!

I think Pedro will definetly happen, but I don' think he's exactly what United needs. United need a back-up striker for Rooney. Pedro's more of an inside forward, isn't he? He will strengthen United...

32,5m for Benteke doesn't look as silly anymore, does it? United, City, Arsenal and arguably Chelsea all need new strikers.

Definetly not. De Bruyne is good but you can only play 11 players. He would take the spot of Sterling, Silva, Toure or something? He would perhaps be an upgrade but not enough. They need a striker to...

I think they are just coinciding. The United squad is quite old so it is no surprise. In that context it would be mind-boggling if they paid 50m£ for Sergio Ramos.
