    They are not doing to badly as they have only lost amon sul, the AI is terrible at sieges and chances are they will lose 1 or 2 of them.

    surrender_regions kills the faction but the armies(generals aswell) survive, so you will still have to fight the battles.
    It forces the armies out of the settlements but they normally return to them...

    Is that there last province?
    If they are nearly dead use the surrender_regions command, you can still fight the battles but they won't have a faction leader.
    It will at least allow you to continue...
