If there are any changes to Roman cavalry ... I would like to see the current stock either reduced in size or ability. They are to good right now ... and there is no reason to hire mercs.

In my campaign as Rome I have seen them kicked out of Italy with my help ofcourse, and go on to mount a very strong campaign across Greece. They captured Pella but did not go south so Greece proper...
I thought roads,farms, walls, and govenor buildings are all indestructable anyway???

Well I made a copy of RTRPE v1.8 which plays fine ... I installed the non mod switch version but it will not play ... I get the load up screens the little one from RTW and then the light brown one...
The non-mod one is 55MB vs 155MB for the mod switch version is this correct? I am trying to put the non-mod one over RTRPE v1.8.

In the city square units will not rout ... EVER ... best thing to do is draw them out with some skirmishers from a distance then attack them with your troops this way you can make them rout and kill...

Doesn't the AI try to build the most men for the least money basically ... and so they buy lots of skirmishers ... big and cheap. I don't think there is a way to fix this other then make units...
I have seen armies that are a bit to heavy in skirmishers but not slingers. Overall it fields pretty good armies maybe not what I would field. A previous post made the comment that he sees roman...
As HK if I make all my greek cities Allied States (type 4) to simulate the free city states of the past would I not still get all the same units as I would if I made these potential homelands Type 1...
