    Re: Steam Issues:

Well, I'm having no luck with this. I've tried everything I can think of so far to get RS2 working with this Steam version of RTW, but no go. It's something to do with the map, I know that much, but...

I just bought RTW through Steam today and I'm going to see what I can do to fix this issue. Hopefully, I will be able to.
  3. Re: Galatia, home of Killix (swap faction description)

Thanks for sharing these, I have dealt with all of them. Also, FINALLY figured out why the generals were changing into Romans...like you, I could not for a long time figure out why that was...

    Re: Sparta question

This is, has been, a common criticism of RS2. However, we had a very dedicated Beta tester who was a big Spartan fan and historian who played probably around a hundred campaigns with them testing...

Well, as I mentioned elsewhere, Thrace was gone. Adding them as a faction would be unhistorical. You do have a point about making Athens a playable faction. That could easily be done through the...

    Re: Steam Issues:

Having seen this, I think I understand what was done by Steam to 'break' modfoldered mods. They have set up RTW to 'minimic' the way RomeII uses mods.
You can try what is suggested here that be done...

  8. Re: RSII launcher starts default Rome without the mod.

The shortcut 'properties' for the Launcher get corrupted for some reason at random times when installing RS2. We never figured out why. Before trying to start RS2 after installing, check the shortcut...
