    Re: Far Cry 5

Hahahah oh my god I'm :wub:ing dying here with all the ranting over the setting
its obviously going to be more of the same, we're talking about Ubisoft. The setting is cool so I'm still buying it.

    Question for medical students

Looking for a specific TV/film trope

I was thinking these days about a running trope in many films and TV shows, specially in the superhero/epic/adventure genre: The "bureaucratic" character, normally in a position of power or authority...

Extremly disappointed no one made something like this but with Hot Pie or Ramsay in the end instead of Jon.
  7. Re: Game of Thrones: TV Series - Season 5 (Book spoilers in tags with warning)

Can't help but think that the origin of the White Walkers might be different in the books, due to the fact that they only appeared millennia after the First Men made peace with the COTF. Detail: this...

So Dual wielding and non-historical armor are still more interesting topics than the fact that the greatest mister of ASOIAF has been revealed..

Never gave that choice much "tactical" thought. Made it to gain approval points with party members who didn't like me much.

Re: So, I'll be grabbing Skyrim soon...

Skyrim GEMS is an excellent 1-page reference site.

    http://skyrimgems.com/

I recommend Interesting NPCs. Doesn't alter vanilla content and is easly the best mod for Skyrim.

Re: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Regarding Novigrad I was totally expecting something like the battle of Vizima at the end of Witcher 1, with Nordling and Nilfgaardian troops and you being able to pick a side or remain neutral.

Can't wait for the expansions. I really wish they fleshed out the game ending and character fates/relationships more though. And at least mention Iorveth and Saskia.

A detail I never gave much...

Re: BBC to rip off "Game of Thrones" and "Vikings" (The Last Kingdom)

I'm not too sure about this since Saxon Stories are pretty good, but they're more about war and battles, not characterization. Books like that work better as movies, not TV shows IMO. If they were to...

  27. Re: Game of Thrones: TV Series - Season 5 (Book spoilers in tags with warning)

Lmao at how this 20 good men  pretty much became a meme. But to be honest battle of Oxcross was far more stupid specially in the books and I didn't see anyone ranting about that.
  28. Re: Game of Thrones: TV Series - Season 5 (Book spoilers in tags with warning)

That episode was very hard to watch, but amazing. Great season.

  36. Re: Game of Thrones: TV Series - Season 5 (Book spoilers in tags with warning)
