    Well the Romans moved in to assist the Massaeyli in their war against Carthage. Of course this was just an excuse to not to show themselves as aggressors and avoid Libyan aggression (temporarily)

    Thank you for your comment. Indeed a war on two fronts is no easy task and that too when we consider that the Empire has 3 fronts which leaves one front unprotected and another in unstable condition....
