Post or attach your dxdiag.
It's not any worse than my mod.
I have the Mongols arriving on the north side of the Caspian Sea. You can bet money nine times out of ten they will take Caffa in the Crimea as its homeland.

You're welcome. Enjoy playing and modding.

Since you now have it on the other drive, possibly time for a clean reinstall on this drive including mods. When you moved it you may have moved the problem with it. Just an educated guess. I've seen...

You may have just found the reason. When Steam in JUly decided to combine the two .exes and delete the launcher, the new medieval2.exe is actually kingdoms.exe. Anyone with Steam and trying to play...

I still say ti's has to do with the size of the free space on C: for the game's swapfile. 12gb is still less than 20gb. Depending on Windows version, some are more resource and harddrive hungry than...

Possibly time to delete both folders and do a clean reinstall including mods.
Are the deleted provinces also deleted in the win_conditions.txt?

Then I don't know. Sorry.

SSD? Installed or updated any programs the last few days? Do you have any other steam games installed and if so does it also happen to them?
September 29, 2014, 04:52 PM
How often do you defrag it? An optimized defrag?
September 29, 2014, 04:24 PM
Uh, those that have played Empire a lot say 20gb minimum for stability. I'd say part of your stuff in ram is not getting copied to disc because of a lack of space.
September 29, 2014, 03:58 PM
Maybe just coincidental. How much free disc space do you have left on C: drive?

Intel is the better buy for total War even as old as medieval2 is. A first generation i5 is a better number cruncher for TW than the 4350 you're looking at or the 6300 I have.
Probably linked to this. http://forums.totalwar.com/showthread.php/132206-MEDIEVAL-II-Total-War-multiplayer-now-available-on-Steam!
Closer to home....

Glad it worked. Enjoy playing.

FAT32 is so old I thought people quit using it. I haven't since NTFS became available what seems like 14-15 years ago. I know some motherboard BIOS setups still look for a floppy drive and FAT32 but...

You're right, my oops.
Which drive do you have the game on?
Seeing you have sound card, I had to disable the uninstall my RealTek audio drivers as they were interfering with my headset that...

The last time I saw it was playing Lithuania in Kingdoms Grand Campaign. I never got a princess to try it on.
September 29, 2014, 04:14 AM
I have seen that assassin movie but not on a princess.

I am not in charge of the censor but it is and that yappy little dog does not help her charm either.

Post #4 I gave you links.
The first one is for your computer itself. About the middle of the page is a download link that wants to download and install a "setup.exe" to scan your computer. You...

Try it and see if it suits your needs.
September 28, 2014, 07:04 PM
I have no proof but It looks like Kingdoms only thing.
You could try Retrofit mod. It's mostly Grand Campaign in a Kingdoms mod.

In this case you have bought something you cannot play. It would take an old Nvidia 8800 or 98oo to start the game preferably with 512mb of memory minimum on the card. Then I don't know if your power...
September 28, 2014, 06:27 PM
Have you and your friend tried it on one of the Kingdoms campaigns?

May I suggest an updated computer? If you do get a decent graphics card, your cpu is barely minimum spec and will bottleneck it.
September 28, 2014, 06:23 PM
1. Log in as Administrator.
2. Disable the UAC if you are the only one using your pc.
3. Take ownership of C: drive.
Now try it.

You graphics card is too old for what the game requires is what it is saying. You need a better graphics card.

users\username\appdata\roaming\the creative assembly\shogun2\logs after you unhide all files, folders, and drives in Folder Options.
I do it for organizational purposes especially debugging error messages but I have run into mods that theirs was all over the map.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I don't believe your graphics card will pull it up.
Post the contents of the gfx.log.txt. Let it prove me wrong.
September 28, 2014, 05:01 PM
I hope you are not trying to run all graphics maxxed. 3GB of ram isn't much and a 64bit system for it is actually a little overkill.
Have you tried lowing your graphics settings?
Even with your...
