Playing as brits, the basic early marine unit fans out in order to fire, which is really annoying when trying o form a firing line:( is this intentional?

With dl option one, I reinstalled it from scratch, after some investigation, only early cannons don't have the fire at will ability, but early mortars do, very odd, also bayonets are not appearing on...
Will do, I don't need to do anything with the installer version like move scripts and such right? and it includes the brits tech fix bug? I think that's right.
I used the installer version, everything working but in game cannons have no second line of abilities, such as fire at will, so they don't fire, they just have combat selected so the crews charge...
There are tons of random crashes, hopefully this will be addressed when the patch comes out.
One idea might be to switch chivalry and dread, executing all the orcs for say the empire should generate chivalry not letting them go:P

I don't think it could ever be eradicated, some mods move the capital to ankra, no ide if that helps thou.

Tried a campaign game and custom battle with various grenadier units and they still just fire in one rank:(, ill download post 19 again tomorrow and see if that helps, otherwise I have no idea why...

Bran is correct, the volley fire makes the ai react better, but it still favour's charging randomly into your lines, and struggles to form a line. Its a shame it cant be modded so that the first two...
Using file one atm, one major problem atm it seems any type of grenadier wont use volley fire, and will only fire with the front rank:(
