I've never heard of anything similar for Alexander.
I have created a new version for TWRR 2.0.4.

I copied changes to TWRR files so as not to miss any Feral changes to the files.
The original list is player1's. I've added DONE, NO and comments where appropriate.
My appreciation to player1 for...
I know that you're busy with the RTR:IS mod but can you spare the time to port your Version 9 improved vanilla map over to TWRR? That is good enough to be a mod by itself, I think, and could serve as...
You're welcome.
Mods are set up in the C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Feral Interactive\Total War ROME REMASTERED\Mods\My Mods folder if you use admin as your user, otherwise it's in your personal...
Well, no one has said no. So here it is.

I have completed a conversion of player1's Bug-fixer 3.36 from RTW to TWRR. I will do the BI part also if this is well received.
But before I post it on steam I need to know if there's any...
I've completed (I hope) my alternate UI for TWRR with the release of version 1.5.
It is mostly focused on readability with most of the small-sized type replaced with the medium typeface. Some text...
Don't sally out with your whole army. Use your cavalry units to isolate and pick off weaker units in the enemy army. Since the war dogs are such a problem I'd focus on the handlers and try to kill as...

Same here. It shouldn't be too hard for them to port this over from M2TW. They did that with Merchants, after all. And it doesn't affect any of the existing game play.
Thanks.
The new link on the first page with the fixed version appears to be broken.
I like the game but too many battles are fought at sunrise or sundown or totally overcast and are very dark. It wasn't literally the Dark Ages, after all. My old eyes are having trouble with this so...
Good luck with this.
My interest is in campaigning so it may not fit your your ideas which seemed to be aimed at multiplayer battles.
My ideas are
1) Better diplomacy since the current...

I'm not familiar with a mod called "280 b. c." but I would like to look at it. Can someone link to it, please. Thank you.
ahowl11,
I'd like your permission to use your version 9 map (the one with the pathfinding fixes) in a mod I'm working on. I will give you credit, of course.
My answer was wrong. Moderator please delete this as I can't find a way to do so.
Thanks for the response. I'm using version V 1.0.4.
I've been running a Rome EC V campaign focusing on learning the building tree and not on expanding my faction.
1) I don't know if this is a bug but a rebel army consisting of 1 man units showed...
Alexander is not part of the RTW Gold Edition (at least in the USA) and you must have purchased it separately. You might still have the source disc or download somewhere. If you bought it from Amazon...
It worked. Thank you.
I've been looking at the BE mod and I like it a lot but I have one complaint. I find the very large black tooltip box when you cursor over a unit on the battle maps to be distracting. Can we get the...
I did a peasants and generals only Imperial campaign with the Julii once. It's slower, of course, but doable.
I think a full map peasant campaign would be interminable.
Legend of Total War...
Thanks for resurrecting this thread. I don't think I ever saw it. There may be some good advice in the first post but it's outweighed in my opinion by the horribly passive and defensive attitude...
You are right about being aggressive but you could be more aggressive.
The Greeks are the easiest faction to win with if you have the right mindset.
Playing as the Greeks is like starting with...
Thank you!
I think you have more than answered my questions.
Thank you!
I improved on this last year and got it down to 29 turns. I think that 28 turns may be possible but it's a lot of work to do these and I don't think Ill try again.

Can the Rome Total War I vanilla map be ported over to M2TW?
I imagine that there would be some trouble with the Wonders but is it feasible with some relatively small changes or would it be better...

I don't think there are any official records for things like that.
I've read of generals that actually made it past 128 years and started aging over again.
If you upload your Save file somewhere (e.g. mediafire, dropbox or the like), I'll be happy to look at it and comment.
I would say that unless you've been deliberately playing some sort of...
Thank you.
I just came across this mod yesterday but I am very excited about it since you have included a lot of ideas I had for a little mod for my own plus a lot of other great stuff I couldn't do.
I do...
I've never seen a definition myself but the hosted mods have their own sub-forums and tend to be large.
I think your mod would be fine in the non-hosted forum since it's not likely to generate a lot...
