    EB2 Settlement Renaming

    Hi,
This is a very minor quibble that I have tried to sort out myself but now none of my quick fixes have really worked I'm hoping for a bit off help. In short settlement names in EB2 have no space...
  2. Creating a female general or ruler

This may be a dumb question but I can't remember seeing any discussion on it. I'm considering making a single female character in campaign who can then act as a general, heir and possibly ruler.

  3. Re: Playable factions: which is the "most German" and "most British"?

Just been reading through this thread cause I found the question a bit odd/funny. I don't know why nobody has pointed this out yet but in the same way as the Germanic invasions of Britain and France...
  4. Re: TURTLEMOD:REVOLUTION for TATW3.2(patch10/28/12)(quickstart addon 11/10/12)

    Hi,
I've been playing the Anduin campaign and I was wondering if Beornings are recruit-able. They aren't listed in the building browser and I've only seen them as bodyguards and mercenaries.
  5. Re: Resource Overhaul - WIP (Feedback and help appreciated)

Sorry I was slow to respond there. For the prevalence of cattle in the British Isles I have as my evidence an article published by Emania, the bulletin of the Navan Research Group, called 'Evidence...
  6. Re: Resource Overhaul - WIP (Feedback and help appreciated)

I would suggest adding cattle/livestock to it in addition to grain. Livestock play an important role and in certain cultures (Gaelic and some Germanic tribes) was one of the most important resources....

    Re: Germanic Preview

    Re: Spears and sheildwalls

I'd just like to point out that your depictions also include a black woman playing some sort of instrument about a foot behind the phalanx (incidentally the depiction isn't of a phalanx but of a...

    Re: Spears and sheildwalls

Read an account of a battle or of Spartan training. You will find that phalanxes (pre-Macedonian style) didn't stand a couple of metres apart and jab at each other. The opposing front ranks were...

Poll: Re: OMG! CA - What have you done!?

In time all will be well. For some reason all you seem to have decided that despite historical precedents (this is like Empire all over again) and are now shocked and horrified at the shambles that...
  11. Re: Why typical Phalanx doesn't exist, when Athens and Sparta are playable ?

I will point out that phalanxes were obsolete by this point in history. Only the Spartans still used proper phalanxes and that's why they were crap. All the other Greek states abandoned the phalanx...
