Is that you... Derek Smart? :)
Updated OP with information about foraging.
Well, those numbers are quite interesting. The immediate problem I see, is that I doubt there are as many as 400 regions in the entire world map though. Those numbers have to be changed to reflect...
It doesn't. I meant, the ramp of how imperium increases over time, as you gain more regions.
F.ex. with the current setup, the "prestige point" requirements for each Imperium level may have to be...
Yeah, it's near perfect. I would agree that increasing region prestige by +1 might hit the sweet spot. ;)
Have you altered or at least looked at the Imperium gain over time in any way, Augustusng?...
I am pleased to report it works fully as intended now. It is even save-game compatible. However, Imperium is not ever going backwards.. so if you have a load game from when you had achieved...
Awesome. Would I need to restart a campaign - or does this mod actually update the prestige/imperium as I load the savegame?
Is it confirmed that this is what the last version does? What if the numbers are linked, so that setting imperium from tech to "1" will also override the imperium from other sources?
Is there a...
double post
Didn't you already do this in the latest version?
Here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?687201-Imperium-Increase-from-Technology-Removed&p=14638172&viewfull=1#post14638172
Roger that. Thanks for the information. I will ask some people to help out here. :D
So, you don't actually test the mods before you post them on a forum? You just assume they'll work? :o
Interesting! I haven't yet gotten to test your latest mod properly. But I did finish trying out your previous iteration, and it definitely doesn't work. I will try the one where you changed the 5 to...
Aww excellent good sir! I will continue with the previous version for a little bit, and see if nothing happens still.
If nothing does happen, 1 is certainly 5 times better than 5!
There might be an issue with gaining imperium from other sources. So far, I haven't gotten any imperium from tech, but neither have I gained any from conquering.
As the Geats, I have now taken over...
Thanks so much for the update! :D Gonna test it now.
Wintermist, so far I don't think Dresden has replied in here to questions about Military Access option for Migrating factions. A lot of people have raised the question, but it goes ignored.
Perhaps...
Great points, agree with all of it. Attila is the move in the right direction for sure.
However, I would like to qualify my own personal caveat to the following statement:
The magic juice...
Thank you for the response. Of course, my OP is not about what is possible within the TWA engine. What I was describing was my very own and personal dream TW.
I invite criticism, as already...
At the very least, whether or not people agree with the proposals - it is nice to spark a little discussion about what opinions people have regarding complexity. To hear from all sides on this issue....
This would be an optional challenge. A different starting point from the default one. You would be bound by fealty to your emperor/empress, king or queen, and would have to do his/her bidding. A...
I did write this enormous post, and I tried to make it as easily legible using oodles of LISTS :D
Apologize to those who find this a long and dreary read, but I do hope you take the time.
This is...
I suppose you could say so. :D
Next topic I will post about in here might be about supply lines ("Commeatus") - which is the link already shown in the pdf diagram from the supplier -> strategic depot -> operational depot -> army....
Here is another wall of text. I've looked at all the supply requirements of infantry, cavalry/pack animals in 3 different types of terrain, and then I've converted the different values to simple...
I have played CK2, but I didn't know that. Based on what I've read so far, that is actually very realistic. When Alexander moved his army through the winter no-man's land of Deh-Bid (through the...
The following is a table of the amount of food supplied by Allied states at specific years:
Army location: Macedonia, Year 200 BCE
Allied state: Carthage
Supplied: 200`000 Modii of wheat (enough...
From the 3rd century BCE, the burden of paying for supplies was lain at the Roman citizen and soldier in what was known as the "TRIBUTUM." The predicted cost of the campaign at hand would be...
An interesting fact regarding the Publicani:
In the year 215 BCE, the Roman Senate made contracts (redemptores) with 3 private companies (run by 19 individuals), to aid in supplying their forces...
This tiny simplified single page PDF document is meant to give a quick overview of how Roman logistics functioned for real. It is based on extensive research of the following three books:
General...
If you have signed their NDA, you should know that signing it (as this goes for almost all NDAs) also precludes you from letting anyone know you are involved. That means you have just breached your...
Looks like there are Siege AI hint polygons available inside TED :)
Going to recreate Syracuse.
Is it possible to create entirely new city maps, with siege path finding; the works?
Because, it's all well and good if we can make city maps in TED and link them to the campaign map using TERRY.....
Congratulations CA, and thank you so much.
I have two questions.
#1 If TED combined with TERRY allow us to create new city maps, how can we prepare for the siege path finding issues facing the...
We aren't many left. I haven't spoken 10`000 times. But I am known for some rather long walls of text.
Ave comitēs. 11.5 years under my belt.
Did you report the bug in their tech support forum? :)
No balancing was required? How can you be so sure about this? Did you stress-test each of the new factions' "seaworthiness"? How did you look for trends to see if one faction was statistically likely...
Yeah, that is a problem. I hope they can do something about that. :)
