So how is the mercenary system - will it be as in vanilla or something different? I mean in vanilla you could basically recruit an almigthy army consisting soley of mercenarys.
love it! :thumbsup2
Great thanks mirage.
Holy smoke quick reply.
Already been done you say, wow you guys are great. But would you mind explain the map in more detail please?
It's probably a bit too late to bring new ideas and suggestions to the table ..no?
Eitherway I want to bring the idea to the table at least, it's nothing big really, but yet I think it would add a...
Too bad, I loved that in R:TW - strange thing CA left that out.
Vassalization now works? Wow that is indeed good news.
Never figured this out - does vassals pay a tribute each turn or is trade rights, military access and a war alliance, all you get?
...
My vote goes for the shield too, for the bad ass general.
By the way will you guys consider adding officers to every unit as well?
Hmm I'm not sure either, but wasn't there two Norman models, one with a crown and another one without? :hmmm: What about the generals horse, plausible?
One thing that would be really cool also,...
Thanks mirage, I had no idea it was so complex, I guess AD makes it look easy?! :)
By the way I think u missed my other question ..will kings and princes have a unique look, in form of a crown?,...
Bad luck Ramm, hope it won't be too expensive for you and that we will see you back on track, soon enough.
Cheers!
What about a cold Carlsberg, or perhaps better yet a Tiger beer from the fridge to cheer you up instead, eh?
Seriously you lads are doing a tremendous job here, and it was surely not my...
Very cool looking general, although any day I would have preferred the face of Reynald or the english sergeant from KOH, over fancy nancy Balian.
Anyway.. will kings and princes have a...
Just killing off one general unit, would pay for a whole war campaign ..Is that pure gold!?! ;) :)
To all ..Very nice job!:thumbsup2
Yes I know they were nomadic people, but going historically here I think would be a pity. Because from a gameplay point of view this IS an EXCEPTIONAL feature (together with the Sack-N-Move-On...
Very nice feature indeed, but why only allow Kypchaks and the Mongols to do it more than once?
cheers
It just hit me, we havent really seen any screens of camel warriors. Won't camel warriors be represented in this game or were they not really in use at warfare in the holy land?
cheers
Just checking.
-Is it normal procedure that you have to hold down the "Y'es" key for about 1 min to install this mod?
-Carthage and one more city (maybe more) still have the vanilla 'look'....
Aye aye.. it's Captain Jack Sparrow, with a parrot on his shoulder.
Now what did I win?
I'm defiantly eager to try out all versions of Outremer Knights, Jerusalem Guards and Knight Templars.
Will KoJ get a new general? Like Byzantium, Armenia and Georgia have gotten.
Jeez wonderful, just wonderful!!! :thumbsup3
The only thing that doesnt really blend in is the full plate european general :happyno: , beside that ..gosh its like watching KOH.
@Centurio Marcus: Yes mods can indeed cause a little lag, my pc is pretty powerfull so I don't get huge lag, but I do get it especially when using mods. However M2TW is not the most stable game...
So far I have completed two short campaigns, within I have had 6-7 rebellious generals and three of them were faction heirs. This defiantly needs attention Ramm, unless this was done purposely, which...
Yes it will, just like the former version did.
I indeed do favor this battle system over the vanilla one, now there is actually time for tactical maneuvering. I would not either complain if they were to last even longer. The only problem as...
Or make them more expensive in up-keep.
In fact I think all the elite units need to be more expensive in up-keep, this I think would also help balance the game a little and make it reflect history...
[delete me]
double post.
Hell yeah, but with swords instead of spears.
Sure thing Ramm, here you go.

The first colored illustrated picture of it, beneath it is the Royal Coat of Arms.
(Damn my memory didnt serve me right,...
Cool design, but the symbol you already have for Castile-Leon, Sicily and Scotland is more accurate. And the new danish symbol is plain wrong for it's age, Denmark should either have the 3 blue lions...
Some minor suggestions:
-Byzantium I think should be somehow weakened and the Turks stronger. Maybe ditch the huge standing Byzantium army near the Turks or make them struggle with religious unrest....
Ok Rammstein I have mannaged to track it down to these units:
Venetian Archers from level 0 - 2.
Venetian Heavy Infantry from level 0 - 2.
Venice Early General's Bodyguard.
CTD:
Custom battle Milan vs. Venice.
-I have tried to load up a battle twice now and both times boom error message. :dunno:
Haha yeah, who had known; medieval muslims were quite hip to the hop.
Just downloaded the beta 30 mins ago and so far everything seems to work just fine.
One thing I would love to see in the final version would be a new faction symbol for Denmark. Also the Norse...
Teach me how and I'll do it.
Richard the Lionheart cleaves away..:executed:

Seriously hire some bodyguards right away for AlphaDelta too, I fear CA might attempt to kidnap this brillant chap! :laughter:
awesome work! :thumbsup2
Surperb you say, common the horses look like they are on steroids.
The horse model used for many skirmishing units is ok, but that model doesn't look like a horse at all only by shape.
Yes awesome work!
The only thing that might need some work is the vanilla horses I think, sure they have the shape of a horse, but they don't quite look like one.
