What about the trait Open Minded? Odd habits etc. That also makes priests more suspectible to heresy, turning into heretics. They get that trait if they end turn next to a heretic.

Thanks for the replies. I did manage to get all of Egypt after my previous comment. Mostly because I did manage to kill all of their family members. Same thing happend to Turks. War with byz had left...
Played as Mongols and it went pretty well, on the battlefield at least. I made alliance with Cumans and just pushed west. At turn 30 and I'm managed to surround Jerusalem and have plans to siege that...
Yeah, I guess. Or wait one turn to see if enemy attacks, though AI garrison need to be stonger than your attacking force. Add to that huns morale penalty against christians and it can be over in...
Nah, you need to do that 75% damage during battle. Once sieged one city for an eternity, settlement damage was huge, but did not get achievement.
Forcibly ends, so you mean enemy routs and you win...
Arch Warhammer made some comments regarding this stuff:

Nah, but they were endorsing tweets which called their fans/customers bigots & nazis. These were thrown around in Steam discussions:

Meh, it sounds like an overkill to abandon your territories as an ERE. Its quite doable to hold your regions. And much more fun to try to keep empire together. Considering how much AI likes to burn...
Been playing TW games since Medieval II and I totally skipped this one. Dunno why I have not played this one before. To have played Rome 1, its like part of common knowledge or something. And I...
While nice points and all that, old games, which you so much despise have guard mode. Missing something so basic like that is just a huge no.
Thats is just stretching it. Why would anyone bother something like that.
Dunno, since i don't own the game, but AI at least in this video is pretty horrible.

Warscape is the bane Total War.
Lower battle ai difficulty. Enemy gets too unfair bonuses

Thanks for the tips. I have not tried any of the sub mods yet, but there are some interesting ones. Need to try them when I start new campaign. Maybe I also should marry some of those princesses off...
more likely you are going to get Caucasian faction pack in Rome 2...wait or does it already have that?
I had good times with using Reiters, though I guess other gunpowder cavalry units are better. They kinda need other cavalry unit to pin down enemy cav.
Thats pretty much explains it all. I started worry in my HRE campaign that my holy and pure bloodline would die out ;)
There is impressive hike in child birth rate when those generals, which you...
I have recruited generals pretty cautiously, since I have thought it will affect family tree in some way, like it lowers birth rates, marriage offerings etc. etc. but maybe this is just false worry.
You mean you lost 2 edicts when you changed religion? Yeah, I guess that happens, but only for a 1 turn. Cultural edict cannot be changed, only religious ones. Though they should appear in your...
So is this the best thing ever?
EDIT: Dunno what I was thinking. Wrong place. Was thinking about Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia
Nah, and not going to buy it, unless its on a huge sale. 40€ too much for it. It look it would...
Meh. But at least I hope it gives some good rants in Steam. Gotta check.
I guess its random more or less. Like there is 2 or 3 layouts for each type, like: coast/inland & capital/minor settlement. Each culture has it own types. Those are obvious roman, barbarian and...
Huh? What I meant, if they are going to invest on faction specific storylines, just get the man who knows what to do in writing departmenet regarding this era. Still, wishful thinking and expensive....
Nice. If they want to make storyline crap, they should hire that Bernard Cornwell or whatever his name is, that Last Kingdom writer
Think of the possibilities! We have 3 Rome factions. One recruits basic legionaries, second has like one or two celtic units and third has persian cavalry unit. Need already pre-order it asap. Its...
Well I guess thats it then. Its always +10 influence but only 3 turns. Time to troubleshoot
Maybe its some of those events, which happen from time to time? Like, you got worshippers of religion x and you can either give them freedom to worship or give sanctions, each give some buffs and...
Here is a Android app. Its encyclopedia for Attila and it has its own city building planner. Really nice:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=info.andrgvrl.attilaencyclopedia
Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately the sum I planed to use on DLC went to Halloween sale. But I go with these comments next time DLC are on the sale.
Basic game is also -50%, and those DLC expect Norsca are -33%. Kinda lame discount, but thats beside the point. Question is, which of these dlc are actually worth it? In another words, which were the...
Is there a small mod which changes descriptions for late era factions in the startup screen? I always enjoy reading them in every TW game and it would be neat to read late era factions situations...
During autumn I play horror games, since summer is just wrong season for them. But right now I just finished Clive Barker's Undying. A horror fps from 2001, made by that Hellraiser creator. Really...
Maybe I'm just stretching things, but I had this "I have seen this before" feeling when I was playing that Rome 2 DLC, Caesar in Gaul, and in that intro a barbarian throws a torch into the pyre or...
Go with middle tech tree from military, which upgrades your cohorts and the like. Towns have default garrison, so try to make those units strong as possible. There are going to be a lot of battles,...
Not from this game. Mercs are mostly tier 1 barbarian/percian units, but there are still some interesting mercenary units scattered across map.
Rome don't get the same auxillary treatment like in...
Dunno, ERE is too tough to go for early game. Their cities are garrisoned with full stacks. Its much better just to get away from Justinian, build your own kingdom, deal hostile barbarians then go...
Does not matter, people are still going to buy it. And if there are multiple saga games, you need to buy blood dlc for eacc and everyone.
Yeah, that how it kinda goes in vanilla. If you postpone too much resettling, it becomes too much a pain, even if you have money to build and keep your elite armies. I just usually decide at the...
Kinda late, but this all what came to mind, but it deals most basic stuff:
http://rakshas.net/the-roman-expedition-a-short-guide-for-total-war-attila-the-last-roman-dlc/
Vandals can be dealt...
