Don't have any suggestions on that one... I'm still using SS 6.4 ( usually early campaign )... Out of the mods I've tried, I think it's one of the best...
I never even though about ram operation... or ladders... or siege equipment in general...
Aren't the missile troops balanced though? I would be more concerned about trying to squish that many...
Wonder who is gonna win this election... hahahahaha...

it's hard to tell, but I do think the payments help... there have been cases where I needed an ally to stall an enemy while I finished other business... giving them a regular tribute for a few...
actually... thanks for the tip Sar1n... I didn't know a single right click with cavalry still results in a charge... I thought it always had to be double right click, and I just tried to line up...
Am I the only person who plays this game with "normal" unit size? Almost all the screenshots / videos and whatnot I see have people marching around with 151? spearmen per division and whatnot... I...
Agree with ^^... I tried Turkey with SS 6.4 twice, and it's a seriously tough campaign... You can expect to be attacked on multiple sides, and the Byz ride down hard with some of their cavalry (...
Agree... I'm actually allied with the Spanish, so I've been holding off on that, but I'll get around to it... For now, yap... finishing of Denmark and Norway ( I managed to sink a HUGE Norwegian...
I just started a new game a week or so ago... Playing as England ( yeah, I know easy ) using SS 6.4 early campaign... and I'm well on my way to world domination... I'm at about 1220 ad now, and...
As England, it is pretty easy... I came back to MTW2 and started and English campaign as well ( playing SS 6.4 )... It's somewhere around 1230 ( started early campaign 1100 I believe ) and I've...
As the other poster mentioned, use assassins...
Typically I will pick one medium sized city as my "hub" for spies and assassins... Ramp up the brothels and inns there, and do all your...
Huh... played a couple more turns "peaceful" ... apparently France is cool with selling off Angers to me for $15k ( who knew )... even with a nice stack of troops inside it... also allied with...
Went back to playing M2TW after a long long break... I'm quite confident that I have SS 6.4 installed... set to start for early campaign ( 1100 ). Everything says 6.4 and it seems to run ok...
...
like i said, i think it might affect all characters... i'm playing vanilla 1.1. my spy launched a successful mission... said he got a trait with +3 spying ( or whatever it was ) with no change to...
HRE was doing well in mine, but apparently Byz got their act together in my current campaign and managed to pass me in production, population, etc... Think they have 3 of the #1 spots and don't look...
So, what do people do in a lose-lose situation with the pope... For example, this has happened to me about 4 or 5 times now...
pope mission - blockade port x for y turns and he will be happy
I...
I noticed the same thing with several of my spies & assassins... guess it just doesn't add in values from the traits... not sure if it's the case with all characters...
I'm really amazed at how many people are calling this "unplayable..."
Just because a game is easy doesn't mean you can't play, and as far as I've seen thus far in about 2 weeks of playing, yeah...
no sacking every 50 turns?
huh...
the only things i do to make it more difficult are no save / reload ( play ironman )...
no pausing at all during battle ( regardless of distractions...
Actually, in my last game I found out how easy it is to make the AI pay tribute... I was making $6k/turn ( by turn 25 I think ) in tribute from 3 factions just for offering trade rights...
After...
I'm still baffled... In the 3 games I've played thus far I get excommunicated. Basically because I'm trying the whole blitz aspect... As england quick attack scotland = excommunication... spain...
I had a very similar experience, except that I allowed the enemy to come inside the walls and THEN ordered my archers to fire into the whole mellee mess below... In this case however the archers...
Personally, I like the idea of attrition as mentioned, but I don't think it needs to be as complicated...
supply levels etc... are basically what they have in HOI2 and I think EU2...
why not...
huh... dunno. i agree i have yet to see all the flashy ones in the video, but i have certainly seen quite a few... definately more than 1 in 200...
yea, the grouping archer thing was pissing me...
Brand new to M2TW, but I did play RTW for a while on my old computer ( which could barely handle it )...
So far still working on my 2nd campaign, but I usually end up with somewhere around 30-40%...
