CC_ATTILA_A_v5.pack from last update is missing. Long time absence of comments. So, project CC ATTILA A is closed now /07.03.2016/.
I doubt very much that for mac needed a special version of mod.
Chances are you are doing something wrong.

AI does not care for your armies if they are not on AI territory and does not prevent capture your city. In other words - the AI does not attack your army if your army do not threaten.
