It is a bug, that after a faction is killed you get still sometimes this event.

I think you are right.

Go to SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\DLV_ext\data\world\maps\base and open "map_fog.tga". Change black to white and delete "map.rvm". Then you should see everything.

I installed this mod and it works perfectly fine. Awesome atmosphere in battle now.
Do you add some pieces to the submod or are you trying to finish Titanium?

First time, i think they were chargedin the back by cavalry and second time i dont remember but it could be possible.

I also had a crash with some axemen, the dismounted mailed knights. Is this a fix for this, too?
