For a new faction, a new lore of magic (with another one for free), new heroes, a new map (for the "hidden encampment"), and a new mini-campaign... Yeah I'd say $17 is a pretty decent deal.

Bloody hell this looks fantastic. Cannot wait! This is the only evil faction I'm really interested in.
Have fun everyone! I have a full work shift before I can play it :P
They said they were running them pretty low, because doing the streams takes up a lot of their CPU. It's not a super high-end computer either. (Dunno the specs, this is just what they had said)
I'm holding off on judgments just yet, since we've only seen one siege battle and don't know if every single dwarf settlement will look exactly the same.
Ahhhh okay, that makes total sense. Thanks guys :thumbsup2
Forget the lore, bear cavalry sounds fantastic!!! :laughter: Slightly off topic, does anyone else find it extremely odd that the dwarfs have no spearmen in their roster? I would think a no-cav...
Hi everybody -
Name's Heathen Storm, I've worked on several mods as a "barbarian consultant" of sorts. :P I'll be helping out with the barbarian building chains
It's nice to see that there are actually two sides of walls instead of just one. The siege AI seemed to perform well from the little bit we saw.
Actually the Old Saxon word is sax, meaning "knife" (stemming from Proto-Germanic sahsa). The word seax is actually Old English, so therefore was a much later word.
It sounds like you have a mod enabled that only allows certain factions to raze.
Chareg is relatively correct. The term gesith specifically means "follower/retainer of a lord", while the term gedriht means any troop or body of men (basically a unit). So the Chieftain with Gedriht...
Hi all - I was making the mod Fall of Kingdoms and I've been researching a lot of for it. If you folks need any help with creating fully authentic faction rosters, feel free to let me know.
Not too much as of yet, working on bringing together all the research before I begin any endeavors into the starting positions and factions. I really want the world to be fleshed out enough to make...
I might consider putting them in my mod Fall Of Kingdoms but it will be awhile before that is out
Fantastic, that sounds great :) do you have a steam account?
I will look further into the Magyars but AFAIK the Magyars did not arrive in the Pannonian region until roughly 900 AD... However...
Fantastic work! Might I make a suggestion?
Adding the strictly leather is a brilliant idea, and I think you can go one higher with this. Not every nobleman (especially in the Northern and other...
Good to see you alive and kicking, Seb. Can't wait to see your work!
I have the same issue, it is all factions AFAIK.
Nice!!!
That would be great! I definitely need UI work done. I'm experienced in it but lost my copy of Photoshop a long time ago, so I can't do it myself. :P
Fall of Kingdoms:
An Age of Charlemagne modification
Hi all!
I've really been enjoying Fall of Charlemagne, however I felt like it was missing something. Then it hit me; it's a perfect...
At first I took Utrecht and Ghent and proceeded sacking around Franconia and Austrasia... However Charlemagne soon sealed a ceasefire with the two Southern duchies and came after me. You start off...
I assure you, your entire comment is quite wrong. First and foremost, horses in Scandinavia are nothing more than ponies, very short in height and also very heavy. The only Scandinavian kingdom to...
Third faction; kingdom of the Lombards! You're welcome :)

Truth be told, I'm really looking forward to this campaign. I'll certainly enjoy it more than I did the Grand Campaign!
Maximus, the Germanic generals look absolutely supreme. Might I make a suggestion? I think the Frankish leader would look great with some heavy Roman mail - the Western Germans were highly influenced...
Sure, if I see it pop up again will do.
Hey Maximus - have a couple of generals every once in awhile using Roman skins and with "Jesus syndrome" (stretched out arms and weapons at the feet). The starting general in the Alamans faction has...
Whoops, just now seeing this :P no I haven't even looked into how to do this. Would be pretty high up in my list of things to do though!
Currently experimenting with the Assembly Kit, learning how things work etc. But going well :) its so much easier to use than PFM!
Hint; wait for my mod! :P kidding, kidding. I have had the same trouble editing the generals
Not bad mate, was going to do something quite similar with the Heroic Age (my mod)
This is a really cool idea, though I think having the Western Roman Empire as an overlord of sorts, having each of the regional factions as vassal states to Rome would be awesome and probably the...
Download PFM from the workshop. It's easy enough to do.
You mean as links to each of the mod pages?

Hi all!
I want to start out by saying that I really enjoy Attila. However, I find the barbarian factions are really lacking in variety. So this mod aims to spruce...
A wonderful post sir! While I would love to change the StartPos I as a player do not enjoy having no starting intro that the playable factions have, so I would probably not change any of the playable...
What mod is this from?
I've had some decent success with the last few games using war targets. I actually had to rush to confederate quick so they wouldn't take the city I wanted :p
