Soul is quite right, most of my games has suffered ctds at some point but if you do a custom battle first its likely you wont receive any or at least really late in your campaign

Excellent mod!! Japanese are my favorite to play as although I took the entire world (except for the americas) as the mongol hordes!

With a large city I always like to starve them out as long as possible than use catapults or archers to thin them even further
