I am going to reinstall the mod because it crashes to desktop whenever I try to manually fight a battle.
My question is: is there some way I can save my current campaign?

i watched this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mV-cCHrIEg&t=535s for help and he says a settings folder should appear but it doesn't?
I'm trying to install this because my game ctd...
okay. thanks John!
Stockholm was always my largest income city.
Started a new vanilla campaign as the HRE and i happened upon the cow ammo for the trebuchet. what does it do?
I was playing this game after a long absence and i was using my trebuchet. I wanted to use the flaming shot but i clicked over to the cow. My question is what does that do? it made the enemy banners...
I still play Rome 1 campaign and multiplayer. love it
what is your youtube channel Henry X?
I chose the HRE as they are my favorite faction. I've always loved Germany and Germans no matter the era.
I agree with Dooz. You can probably go into SS but I would play the vanilla to, like he said, get a feel of the game and to see what all this great mod changes. Also vanilla is easier than SS and I...
iirc most of the mod team for SS is inactive atleast on this forum.
why not just get 6.3 and 6.4?
generals with high chivalry and piety help iirc but i don't know specific traits...
So to my understanding Aragorn is Isilduls heir but it's been like atleast a thousand years since Gondor has had a king right?
My question is what happened to Aragorns father and grandfather etc....
i don't think total war games have an actual end if you win the campaign. I was played an England campaign til the in game date was in the 1900s.
(i like building infrastructure and slowly...
In all my many many campaigns I've never seen a settlement bribed away from me.
i did this once in vanilla as england. put all my priest on a mercenary boat and got it sunk by pirates and then killed all the other catholic factions. it was very anticlimactic as the was no "The...
it also depends on the city/castle level as some levels can't be converted.
1)Night battles should only happen when you select the option, except in Mordor i think it's always dark on the battle map when fighting in mordor.
2) I could find no way in game to shorten the time...
thats why i bumped this. it was all the way on page three!
oh okay thanks!
i bought fall of the samurai a while ago during a steam sale and finally got around to playing it and figured i'd play a few custom battles to geta feel for the units and moving them and the camera...
are you playing with any submods? is this a late campaign?
edit: which ai option are you using?
you don't have to uninstall just install to a different campaign eg britannia, teutonic, americas. i've got vanilla third age, DaC, and stainless steel
edit: and yes DaC has so many new units, and...
thanks Roma_Victrix and Withwar i reaally appreciate it!
and Roma you should definitely check out the divide and conquer mod its great!
i'm playing the DaC submod. will adding egypt and mongols allow the galadhrim to build stone castles?
I don't remember knight guilds being regular buildings in vanilla SS
but i've been engrossed in Third Age TW for some time and can't remember
:hmm:
reminds me of how in empire and napoleon the wind was against you like 70% of the time you entered a naval battle.
I once had my faction heir turn traitor in orig SS6.4 I quit that campaign...
I'm new to shogun 2. I've mostly played Third Age and Stainless Steel, but I also played Napoleon.
The reason I'm posting is because I didn't see a general questions thread or a thread of this...
Welcome to forums first of all!
Stainless Steel doesn't feature the Americas in favor of more eastern territory and a couple new factions.
France would be a good faction for what youre looking for.
not that ive seen in my many playthroughs. I usually only add population to a fortress that has growing even with a good governor
but what about the no upkeep?
entertaining story, but yeah Barad dur isn't a custom settlement in vanilla. I'd also like to recommend a sub mod and that sub mod would be the Divide and Conquer sub mod.
...sub mod...
I'm so glad of this feature Rome 2 and Rome tw had this and it makes me hate siege battles. you lose so many men when attacking and takes away from the difficulty when defending.
i'm think it's just a visual thing and that the damage is calculated behind the scenes.
trolls will be a great asset when you can get them

are you using a submod? if you are you might have better luck posting in that submods thread.
