    Re: Resource and Province map

Correct, but the Iliad is not historical.

As far as I know, there is no evidence of a Dorian invasion.

And yet you say it already existed. That means there is archaeological proof of a...

Or how about a campaign that doesn't revolve around a specific large, map-spanning conflict? I've always preferred my Total Wars to be sandboxy. Just pick an interesting period in Greek history where...

[Released] Re: reduced strat map movement

I don't think removing or changing the double time stance requires scripting. It didn't in WH2.

[Released] Re: No supply line (upkeep) penalties

True, but the issue that supply lines is meant to reduce is the issue of snowballing. Reduced recruitment points across the board doesn't really help with that.

    Re: Bonuses, bonuses, bonuses everywhere

    Basically, yes.
While I quite enjoyed the skill trees in Warhammer, that is only for the first time. After a while, you have all these generals and agents you have to micromanage skills for, and it...

[Released] Re: No More Cheating AI Mod

[Released] Re: No supply line (upkeep) penalties

It's possible the AI tends to fill up armies before making another, through programming. That does stop many small armies, but it doesn't stop many big armies.

Simple little mod like the one that exists for Warhammer that doubles the speed at which the camera moves around during the end turn sequence.

  19. Re: [Chatting Thread]: political overhaul coming soon - use this thread (only) for any political report/idea - PIGS_Fami_beta_00 for downloading

That is pretty much what I did. I did not, however, give the mod a name to make it load before DeI. I thought only the table name matters here.
  20. Re: [Chatting Thread]: political overhaul coming soon - use this thread (only) for any political report/idea - PIGS_Fami_beta_00 for downloading

I tried making a little submod that does just that, but still got an illegitimate child. Is it not the case with Rome 2 that tables are loaded alphabetically?
  21. Re: [Chatting Thread]: political overhaul coming soon - use this thread (only) for any political report/idea - PIGS_Fami_beta_00 for downloading

Hey Jake, I was wondering what you are planning with regards to illegitimate children. They don't occur in vanilla, but DEI adds them back in. But I think all they do is clutter up the family tree....

    Re: Influence and political mechanics

Ow, sorry, I meant 4 out of 8 dots. I've tried illustrating it:

At the top you see that influence should be 4 out of 8 = 50%, or more likely between 37.5% and 50%. Yet influence is 32%

Yes, I get that (by which I mean "I don't get it, but I get that I don't get it").
