anti aliasing in this game would absolutly kill performance IMO as there are so so many different objects on the screen, thats anicdotal evidence though.
Your best bet is to test in custom battles.
The gates should be a unit where you can attack with it's limited ammo and such.
Have it with a 'sickening' mode and a 'killing' mode, killing would be boiling water/oil, used for killing those...
From what Im told only the Scotts get those as they cannot build them
If you upgrade the lab once (it's second teir) you get an upgrade to cannon weapons, if you put it to third teir you get a musketeer type unit upgrade (+1 attack for both).
The level 1 building...
Ive played a few games like this, and basically it comes down to what group can collect the most amount of people who can put time into the game.
And then they gank everyone.
Sounds like a good...
I use Irfanview to batch convert TGA into PNG (better then JPG IMO) and as it suggests, you can do them in batches instead of one at a time.
The games Battlezone and Battlezone 2 were like this, but they are definably now a historical game at all, very futuristic basically.
The main problems would be anything but a flat landscape,...
Every time people post this it's a bugged two handed weapon Vs peasants.
Hint: if the unit doesnt attack, it cant kill anything.
Looks bugged to me, in my game they basically have the eastern half of the map...
But with those armies they should definatly be taking allot more.
As I understand it each country can have an arch bishop if the pope/cardinal city agrees.
But in in NTW2 because of the low numbers of preists in comparison to the real works, they would be...
That or the nation responsable be the one getting in trouble for it...
Same here, it goes to au.gamespot.com for me (Im in Australia) and says invalid unit.
Only certain archers get them.
But when your placing your men, as long as they arent in the wrong spot (IE on your placement boarder and such) the flaming arrow icon changes to a green stake icon....
They need to add an extra 'attack speed' stat and it would clear it all up IMO, JHI are fast, others are medium, slow, etc.
That appears to be where all the confusion is, the speed at which they...
Yep I really wish they would post the patch bug fix list!
In my game they are quite strong actually... but I wiped out France early
It's not make peace, it says cease hostilities, IE dont attack.
you don't need to go neutral.
That sounds pretty right to me though, as the 'real world' doesnt come into play with things like the moral factor of moving towards a solid line blasting off at once, etc.
Its a smart move by the...
Yes but that also can put up your skill via those and therfore your kill chances.
I want to buy steel capped shoes for my assasins so that they dont keep getting their damn toes bitten!
Ive found that if you first use them to burn down allot of buildings and kill captains (easy moves) you can skill them up pretty damn fast.
I find them using allot of them for sure, but all you do is spread your troops and you should be OK, and leave your cavalry to the SIDES of your army.
They fire at your front line troops most...
And musket units at high levels too!
This thread is a matter of balance.
Two handed units are a bug.
They are mutually exclusive, the two handed bug needs fixing before any balance comes into play, so far archers look un bugged so...
s extra bonus? That makes no sense :S
Every other TW game has had a patch to fix the suicidal general bug...
it appears they averted that fix this time, amazing! It only took them 4 goes :)
The thought of a musket ball is also scarier, you basically cant see it and it flies at a million miles an hour... wheras arrows you see, you can hold a shield too, etc.
This is one of the most logical expansions for MTW2 though, its where you head... why not use that time period next?
And if they go for a gunpowder age, then it's a perfect sandbox to see what...
I use retinue longbowmen myself, easier to train in many cities and more of them...
No stakes either, which are a mainstay of my front line.
