I recently picked up The Fall of Gondolin which contains some beautiful illustrations and I think most notably the original version of the tale along with some commentary by Christopher Tolkien about...

So steam changed the way Medieval 2 launches (see above) and my folder than has TATW (teutonic) seems to be bugged and won't run the game anymore, it instantly...
This is how I feel, I saw the first movie and my favorite part was in the early scene when they were all singing and cleaning up Bilbo's house, it was silly, it was funny and it was exactly how I...
The story does seem interesting, although I saw the gameplay awhile back and it seemed like there was a lot of exaggerated magic use which kind of sucks.
Yeah and I left it running for 15 minutes and it only got through 10 turns
It sort of works but it seems really slow and you can't view the minimap while it's going, which is what I sort of need for this
Your code that you pasted, not quite sure what I was doing wrong.
Worked, thanks a lot! I'd rep you but I already repped you earlier.
Withwnar, can you give me the code from DCILA to make a faction with Forodwaith as it's only territory? I'm having issues.
Well unfortunately unless your archers can kill them, the only option is to set a battle time limit, as unfortunately in Medieval, even the base game, bugs do happen and the easiest way to resolve...
Do you mean communicate telepathically? I don't recall any teleporting in the movie.
The other problem with making a movie, or even a TV series, out of the SIlmarillion is that the stories aren't really complete, or written in much depth, which can definitely widen how it is...
Cool, Could you explain how to do that for the vanilla game?
Not sure where this question fits exactly, but I'm still editing economy values, is it possible to run an "observer" campaign to see how my changes affect the AI without having to play myself?
Don't HE normally go for the OotMM After Eregion? As opposed to taking Byrig.
Weird game though, evil factions need a huge buff so they can spam units and overwhelm the good factions, who can...

I'll be home in about four hours to reveal the answer
Yeah I really like how all the factions are doing after my changes, definitely needs more tweaks but I think the buffs were a good thing.
I'm a scrub so it's actually M/M

Figured I'd contribute one, Turn 82, game is modded: I increased income from Taxes, trade and mines, population growth is also increased, Kings purse was halved on...
So I just installed it and it seems to have bugged on me, i installed 1.5 then 1.6 patch then 1.6.1 patch and when select a faction and click to start my campaign it returns me to the previous menu...
I suppose I'll join the Dorwinion bandwagon.
OK well I found a reader and how to edit the file, how much would you suggest to increase the values?
Quick question:
Awhile ago I actually edited my Kings purse and garrison scripts, can...
I've found this line in the same file actually, under market, fairground, etc
x being some sequential number from 1-5, I don't really know what it indicates though.
Same person as Crawfs42 different account

Sort of, I can deal with the economy to an extent but my main issue is that because it is so tight you're sort of forced to doing pretty...
