  1. Re: Oxford Experts say parents should be allowed to have their Newborn Babies killed because they are “morally irrelevant”

I wonder if this thread opening post is a sign of the degenerating qualities or willingness to investigate an issue and pose proper questions?

This is an example of how extrapolating stuff is...
  2. Re: Stay Muslim Don't Vote - minority extremism in the UK

    Clear as day.
  3. Re: Stay Muslim Don't Vote - minority extremism in the UK

Yes clearly MI5 will have no idea what they are talking about of course! Mosques promoting extreme versions of Islam leads to ISIS whether you like it or not. Once you have accepted the idea of...
  4. Re: Stay Muslim Don't Vote - minority extremism in the UK

All of what I have provided is this activity happening within mosques. You think that extreme badly interpreted Islam (to your view) doesn't lead onto ISIS when it espouses the same views?

    The...

That isn't actually true what it allowed was a bigger lender of last resort. Spanish and Greek firms and governments particularly (though more private with...
  6. Re: The predecessor of EU:The Latin Monetary Union

Honestly the weird thing is, I've got like an emotional attachment to the idea! I think its wonderful to be able to travel and have the same money I think its pretty cool even if I badly miss the...
  7. Re: Stay Muslim Don't Vote - minority extremism in the UK

Oh gosh I love the muslim apologism at work. Because you are a muslim it isn't possible there could be some bad muslims or even structural problems.

  8. Re: Jihadists must die, --- but our real enemies are the Qur’an and Bible.

Not all humans are born with the same abilities or IQ and ability to interpret especially if its not their primary language. They rely on others, and bingo. Different opposing views. As I've said...
  9. Re: Jihadists must die, --- but our real enemies are the Qur’an and Bible.

Arabic seems to be a hard enough language that one single text can have that many interpretation and arguments down the centuries.
  10. Re: Stay Muslim Don't Vote - minority extremism in the UK

The fact that you don't link the two when the rhetoric inherent to salafism is intensely political means that I really don't know what you are talking about. Salafism has political goals and...
  11. Re: Stay Muslim Don't Vote - minority extremism in the UK

Mosques have been involved in the radicalisation of fighters who have gone to ISIS, I'm guessing they reject him as it would draw scrutiny from the security services. Not because they disagree with...
  12. Re: Jihadists must die, --- but our real enemies are the Qur’an and Bible.

Unless religion helps put bad ideas there in the first place. Just like Nazism wasn't twisted, the Old Testament wasn't twisted. Neither was the Qu'ran
  13. Re: Social implications of future technology that would stop ageing and the depredation of cell replication, i.e. live forever, avoiding death due to health reasons

With an ageing population the birth rate drops seemingly. That is the trend in every country.

Re: How to have a perfect life

Asian philosophy does not use desire as a term as simplistically as you are doing.
  15. Stay Muslim Don't Vote - minority extremism in the UK

Just an interesting perspective of a minority viewpoint of British Muslims. They believe all laws made by man are false and only Sharia can truly apply and wish for Islam to dominate Britain nay the...

Re: The odds of choosing the wrong god(s).

    Try that sentence again?

Yeah. So it is a gap in our knowledge that people are extrapolating to make mountains out of quantum mechanical molehills.

The universe is not stochastic, that there is some randomness does not make the universe undeterminate but in all probability highlights a lack of understanding but whatever might happen on a nano...
  18. Re: Social implications of future technology that would stop ageing and the depredation of cell replication, i.e. live forever, avoiding death due to health reasons

Surprisingly good. There is a Terry Pratchett book that briefly mentions it, its either Dark Side of the Sun or Strata. Boredom eventually drives the immortals to riskier and riskier feats to keep...

Re: Air crash - With ultra political spin

Well as long as we are going to have sealed cabins the idea of always having two people in is eminently sensible.

Sick notes for serious mental health issues I think auto reporting for people...

Airline staff are supposed to have medical checks etc though right?

Islam still seems intrinsically linked to the Middle East, they seem to be and provide the spiritual leaders at any rate.

So they released Graphene LED light bulbs recently. They are cheaper, last longer and less likely to break and are apparently 10% more efficient. Nothing really startling much like the tennis...

Air crash - With ultra political spin

Recently an air pilot crashed a plane that killed over 150 people. He did this as an apparent suicide.

Now I will list a series of discussion...

  34. Re: UKIP would axe "much of" law that prevents racial discrimination in work place

  35. Re: UKIP would axe "much of" law that prevents racial discrimination in work place

So you are comparing policies as opposed to definitions? Well that is interesting, nothing to do with what I said. I really clearly explained myself. A dictionary definition which references law...
  36. Re: German kamikaze kills 150, crashing plane into Alps

On American Airplanes you must have two people in a cockpit at any one time, 3 pilots one on rest and if the other spare pilot wants a toilet break a stewardess has to be in there. Seems sensible.
  37. Re: UKIP would axe "much of" law that prevents racial discrimination in work place
