What a cool experience. When the guy puts the plastic bag over your head it feels REALLY weird. That was probably the most immersing part of the show.
If I hadnīt been shown this, I wouldnīt have believed it. That was Hilarius!!!!! :D
Thanks guys, hopefully this will help me make a better buy. I hope the intrest rates donīt get to me for it!!!!! LOL
If I increased the CPU Speed to 2.4 or 2.66 and got 2gb of ram, would that help?? and how much in each case of CPU?
Well, taking that into account, lets see how a computer like the following would run Medieval II Total War:
PROCESSOR
IntelŪ Core2 Duo processor E6320 (4MB L2 Cache,1.86GHz,1066 FSB)
...
Hey, Iīm thinking of getting a dell XPS 710, and since I wanted to save a bit of money, I was wondering what kind of difference the processor speed would make when running a game like Medieval II...
I think the problem with peasants and heavy units is linked to one thing that apparently has carried into MTW2; attack speed seems to be one determining factor.
Think of this, a heavy infantry...

Well, I'm working with multiple installs of RTW in order to have more than one mod. The thing is I just found out RTR is not running with the original RTW.exe.
Maybe I did something wrong and am...
I'm trying to get Vercingetorix's tools, but the download link is bad. Anyone have it who can give it to me?
Well, my install method was this:
1.Installed Rome Total War Vanilla
2.Installed BI Expansion Vanilla
3.Installed BI 1.6 Patch
4.Installed RTR Platinum(1.6) to the Rome Total War directory, in...
I installed the new RTR Platinum version a couple of days ago and then ran the 1.7 patch. As explained by the instructions, I installed RTR into a Vanilla version of BI updated to patch 1.6. Then, I...
Hmm...well, I asked if it needed SSE, and aparently it does. So I guess an AMD Thunderbird can't run it?
I have one question
Does the final version of MTWII require SSE? Or was it just a demo thing?
We have some screenshots at the main site, but they do not represent all the changes we have made to the present day ;P. Also, if you are a modeller or skinner and own Empire at War, WE NEED YOU, so...
It is my pleasure to make an official announcement on behalf of the Star Wars Empire at War: Total Realism Mod team regarding version 2.1.1. We have worked very hard to bring you the latest fruits of...
Breaking the Egyptians early on will make you. Ignoring them could potentially break you! Do, however, beware of the Parthians/Bactrians/Eastern Rebels(even though they are just mainly an annoyance).
This is amazing. The Ancient World is finally coming to life. Once you guys debug everything and add the wonders, etc, your work, in my opinion will be unrivaled.
BTW, I love the new vegetation;...
No body knows, it could be this year, the next or perhaps...the day after tomorrow :P
Seriously though, I think there should be a stickied annauncement which clearly heralds the answer to this...
Are there any plans to include features such as clifts in the camp map? They were present in the first map, but I think not to a sensible degree(too little).
You know, I just came up with an idea. I'm not sure how if its really that good or not, but here it is regardless.
Having many army stacks around the map is a hasle. Ancient armies, especially...
Well, I can't seem to find anyone extremely important who shares my last name, but my first name is synonimous with this guy:...
Shaggy, considering your city vs. income point has made me think. Its very true that a faction with a lot of cities can get too rich. I wonder how RTR is dealing with this...
You have to realize that the map can only be so big, and that at least you now how more breathing space to fight around in. The cities are also important, specially in such a contested area such as...
Well, if you think about it, areas like the middle east and northern Europe were still pretty rural during the republican era. Sure there were a lot of tribes and people inhabiting both of the lands...
Wow, that is indeed a pretty nice job. I like the way its looking so far. The terrain heights look really polished(even if the map is still a WIP).
Haven't seen much of the latest development of the map, so that's why I'm suggesting the idea of using Google Earth. I've asked for some images of how it's going, but last I checked, I got dismised....
Hey guys, I figured a lot of you already know about Google Earth and how it provides exellent satellite imaging and topography(at least for the scope of it). I was browsing through the features and...
Sounds like music to my ears :D. A good map is the basis of good strategy.
Oh, well, I'm sorry to hear you quit. I'm assuming the map hasn't changed much since the last screens then?
Hey guys, I have been looking forward to the new RTR map being made for 7.0, but I haven't seen many new images of it and how its coming along. Do you think you could facilitate some for us?
I agree with you that arrow damage is unrealistic, but what's even more unrealistic is the range some archers have! And also some peltasts. It'd be really nice if the RTR team could get its hands...
Thanks a lot, it helps tremendously.
Hello, I've been away for a while, and I wanted to know whats going on as far as releases, status of RTR 7.0 etc. Any news?
Doesn't the fact that CA keeps releasing new patches delay the mod making progress?
I've looked at many of the mods which have been released on this forum overtime, and the units on the screens which have been presented by Adherbal are the best skinned I've seen so far.
Personally, I like the big contemporary soundtrack directors like Hanz Zimmer, Harri Gregson Williams and John Williams. That's from a proffessional musical stand point. Usually producing movie...
