    I think it might be the normal map texture - try using the original and see if it is 'cleaner'. If so experiment with the settings of the normal map.

    Did you save the DDS file with mipmaps? Milkshape accepts that format as texture, no need for TGA. Did you make a new 'normal' texture as well?
