    Yes the only special troops in the settlement region I see are the basic mercs (Hillmen, Rhudaur Axeman, Scouts) and the Heavy Axemen.



    Only the ones I've mentioned above are available as Mercs...

    Any of the Iberian factions (minus the Moors) have great late units with the pike and shot combos. England gets their Longbowmen, which are amazing. Teutonic Knights speak for themselves, of course.
