She's supposed to be in her middle 30s'. Just like the actress.
While , like I said, I'm a little uncomfortable with Cersei's portrayal in the show ( in the books she's angry, crazy and paranoid while in the show she's calm and rational ) the actress does an wonderful job with the role they give her.

Tywin exchange of looks with Arya was great, that was the best thing of the episode, I didn't see Tywin smile.Harrenhal feels quite different compared to the books, but the storyline there is really great, the only thing that I didn't like there was the name chosen, The Tickler's scene in ASOS is one of the best of the whole series.I enjoyed Theon and Bran too.
Thing with Tywin is, I don't know, he behaves differently than in the books. In the show he looks a lot more lively. In the books he never raises his voice or something like that, while he does it in several occasions in the show.
Re: [Spoilers] Game Of Thrones - Clash Of Kings ( SERIES )
To be fair though, Cersei only becomes REALLY crazy/paranoid in the 4th book when she starts having her own POVs. Before that we didn't really have much insight into what was going on in her head.
About this episode: it does seem that they are going to bypass the Reed kids and combine Jojen with Bran. I don't think they can combine Jojen with Osha, because of what will happen in the future. Also, Xaro is out of character, but I guess they've given him a completely new identity for the show. Cool cameo by Quaithe. Though I don't see the point of having her if you're trying to cut down on characters (unless Martin has given them a hint that she's very important in the final books. Doubt it though)
Also, Brienne's sword fight was probably the most badass so far of the show, even if it was against Guard #1 and Guard #2.
Re: [Spoilers] Game Of Thrones - Clash Of Kings ( SERIES )
Well Quaithe delivers a riddle/prophecy in Mereen so she is important.

The Wildlings who attacked Bran in the first series were Geordies
I'm still waiting for a Scouser to crop up :D

A prophecy which the writers could EASILY have another character say. She's certainly not as important as Jojen, or Ramsay Bolton.
Re: [Spoilers] Game Of Thrones - Clash Of Kings ( SERIES )
Lack of Reed brothers sucks indeed.
Re: [Spoilers] Game Of Thrones - Clash Of Kings ( SERIES )
y'know what would also suck? Having too many characters on screen to keep up with...

You're right. We don't need the Reeds as long as we have Ros and the brothel.

From her POVs in AFFC we know that she was actually quite insane since her childhood (Maegi ecc).In the show she just seems power hungry/caring for her kids, she is much else in the books and much more interesting.

Was hopeful Davos would be Scouse, but no luck for us there (and surely he's got a posh Geordie accent going on, not Irish as someone suggested?) :P always had him and most other sailors with a Scouse twang in my head.
Mance Rayder could be a Scouser...
I'll dream on :P

You need to watch Sharpe then...
Re: [Spoilers] Game Of Thrones - Clash Of Kings ( SERIES )
Nah, I don't want to see Napoleonic French die, I like them. I'd rather have a version of Peter Jackson's LOTR where Boromir doesn't die.
Re: [Spoilers] Game Of Thrones - Clash Of Kings ( SERIES )
Finally things get interesting. A lot of action in that episode.
Re: [Spoilers] Game Of Thrones - Clash Of Kings ( SERIES )
Yeah, best episode of the season so far, also, since that's not saying much, an actually really good episode. The scenes north of the wall were a bit dumb as was Dany's first scene but the rest was awesome.
Re: [Spoilers] Game Of Thrones - Clash Of Kings ( SERIES )
They didn't explain what happened there that well. How was Rodriks
Re: [Spoilers] Game Of Thrones - Clash Of Kings ( SERIES )
It was a good episode, Ygritte was great and it's always good to see another Joff slap.
Re: [Spoilers] Game Of Thrones - Clash Of Kings ( SERIES )
Good casting for Ygritte... best episode so far.
I dont remember LF visiting Tywin but I am sure that was alluded somewhere in the book I just missed it. LF seems to be everywhere doesnt he. Anyone think he caught on to the fact the little girl was Ary?
And was that officer the same person killed in the book? or did they change that?
But honestly the show always leaves you hooked at the end of every episode.
I never knew who the hell the reed brothers were in the book... so I am not heartbroken they are missing. I think I would be able to follow them easier in the show than a book but whatever.
Re: [Spoilers] Game Of Thrones - Clash Of Kings ( SERIES )
Good episode, Ramsay here we come.
Re: [Spoilers] Game Of Thrones - Clash Of Kings ( SERIES )
I will watch the episode this evening. Looking forward to it.
Can someone spoil to me which characters this episode featured? I hope my favorite ones are :).
Edit just noticed: I maybe need to change my avatar - someone might confuse me for a white cloak, and it'd make me sad to be confused for a lady-beater...
