This mod add unique faction voices and other sounds in english language.

New features.
Strategic map:
-new accent for Tzeentch faction
-new accent for Undivided faction(used also for Slaanesh)
-more variations for HE and Dwarves merchants
-new accent for Beastmen faction
-added vanilla english voice for empire diplomats
Battle map:
-new accent for Tzeentch specific units
-new accents for Nurgle units
-new accent for Chaos female units
-new accents for all Chaos monsters
-new accents for all Beastmen units
-movement and melee sounds for Steam Tank
-reworked movement and footsteps sounds for all non-horse mounts(Bears, Juggernauts, Boars, Cold ones, Lizards, Sqigs)
-new idle, ambient and death sounds for Chaos horses, Skeleton Horses, Bears, Juggernauts, Boars, Cold ones, Lizards, Sqigs
-added sounds for magic firing from russian version of CoW (planning add new sounds in future versions)
Optional change: new firing exhaust effect for Steam tanks, if you don't want to use it don't install descr_mounted_engines
Installation:
1.Extract archive.
2.Find "Call_of_Warhammer" folder.
3.Copy extracted "Call_of_Warhammer" folder over your "Call_of_Warhammer" folder in game root directory(Something like D:\Games\Medieval2 Total War\mods\Call_of_Warhammer)
4.Play!
This is a beta so I strongly recommend make a backup of all overwrited files.

-reworked ninja51's work on Sylvania added more voices
-reworked Dwraves added much more voices

-reduced sounds volume for strat map for Khorne and Orks.
-added reworked vanilla M2TW accents to strategic map. Tempoprary empire factions have german accent, dwarves - scottish, high elves - english, dark elves - mongolian, kislev, border princes, sylvania - east european.
-added vanilla M2TW battle map voices to empire core troops. Most of empire units tell their name now.
-added unique voices for Orks and Goblins for battle map and strat map
Installation:
1.Extract archive.
2.Find "Call_of_Warhammer" folder.
3.Copy extracted "Call_of_Warhammer" folder over your "Call_of_Warhammer" folder in game root directory(Something like D:\Games\Medieval2 Total War\mods\Call_of_Warhammer)
4.Play! (No need to delete anything this time)
Installation:
1.Unrar arhive, there you'll find "Call_of_Warhammer" folder.
2.Copy extracted "Call_of_Warhammer" folder over your "Call_of_Warhammer" folder in game root directory(Something like D:\Games\Medieval2 Total War\mods\Call_of_Warhammer)
3.Go to Call_of_Warhammer\data\sounds\ and delete or rename events.dat and events.idx.
When you run the game exe file will generate them.
Step 3 make this mod compatible with music patch.

This version made for last released version of Cow 1.34.

Why would you have to rebuild the animation packs change a mount's voice?:hmm:

Because some sounds stored directly in animation packs. In .evt files. I need edit them but It require rebuilding the anim.packs. All COW non-horse mounts animations based on horse evt files. That is why wolves and boars neighing before death.

What do you guys think about the empire having german accents?
I know they are a very decidedly a parody of germany, but the way dialogue is most often written, they are closer to being english with all the varieties therin, IMO.

Maybe I'll add german accent as a placeholder for empire, but in future empire will have empire accent.
Empire generals will talk about emperor and sigmar not about kaiser :)

Do take a look at our resource collection, we have more and better voice packs than just Mark of Chaos, including custom sets and sets from Dark Omen. We also have most of the MoC voices already extracted. You can find more at the link above.

This looks amazing i dint think we were going to get english sound files for this game but again someone suprises me. Is this compatible with the daemon prince mod or a availbe verison that will work with it i would like to add this to me existing orc campagin also would this be save game compatible or only a 1.34 working version available.
could someone provide instructions for installing this with the mods iam currently using i believe that its only the export desr unit file thats causing the crahses i think it is ok too overwrite sound files without ctd though iam i correct?

Thank you! It could be useful. IMO WH40000 voices sounds too hi-tec, too robotized and we need more medievel feeling. But we can decide what fits better later after I'm finish what I started. Chaos, Empire, Dark Elves, High Elves, Dwarfs - this is a lot of codding work :whistling

You're absolutely right if any mod don't mess with sounds it can't be used with my mod.
Only one file which need to be corrected is EDU.
You need copy from my EDU to yours just 2 lines: voice_type and accent.

Thanks so much the orks feel like an orc faction now rather thna a arab one and worship mork instead of allah.(no offence to any muslims!) The instructions to change the EDU worked perfectly and i still got my previous mods great work man look forward to other voice mods from you in the future next lets stop chaos speaking like frogs.(no disrespect to any french!).

I'm going add vanilla medievel accents to all factions, because it can be done quite fast and this is better than just silent units.

And Border Princes should be East European, too.
Also, we don't use 40K voices, all the voice sets provided above are either custom-made or ripped from warhammer games like Mark of Chaos or Dark Omen. :yes:

I truly concur with Peltast... it would be truly fantastic if you could use my custom voices and sounds that I created... Basically, Sylvania, Dwarfs, Orcs and some Goblins are finished...well, before 1.4 released new units!:)
