Glad you made it work :D
So basically, you have installed Steam outside of the Program Files, right?
I'd like to know to update the installation instructions accordingly ;)

I've just noticed something on the screenshot I had taken. I tried to download SSHIP into the Sega folder.

But MTW2 SS that I'd played was located in the Steam folder.

I think the problem is that two different SS3 folders have been created in the Sega and Steam folders and I installed SSHIP over SS, where created in the Sega folder.
I'm reinstalling Steam now. Then I'll try to install over SS, located in Steam folder. So we'll see if it works.
I'm a bit confused now :hmm:
You have a Steam version and a CD version of the game? I'm completely noob about Steam as I'm still using a CD version (old fashion fanatic :D).

Yes, it's complicated but I've solved it. I had been playing MTW2 on Steam, right. The game files were in Program files>Steam folder. So, somehow, I don't know when this happened, It had been created a Medieval Total War II folder in the SEGA, which was empty. After, when I installed SS, one of the the installations also was installed in that Sega folder. And then, SSHIP was installed that curse location, again and again. Consequently, I didn't see SSHIP screen.
Greetings from Sherlock.
What is strange is that SS was working unless it was also installed in your Steam folder :hmm:
Btw, how's Dr. Watson?
:D
Did you work on a Newer Version?
Yes, we currently do. It takes longer than expected due to heavy workload (other duties on TWC) and real life unforseen events. I'm also waiting for a new laptop which should hopefully allows me to work faster. Meanwhile, I'm doing my best ;)
We really appreciate all the hard work you guys put and obviously have to put your real lives ahead of modding, just wanted to say thanks and take all the time you need. You guys are awesome!
Thanks for your kind words ;)
Good Day all
So, this is a Question that was probably asked before but I cant seem to find it or its answer.
Whats the Plan? Like, what are you adding exactly, whats the goal for the next release?
Okay, right. Thank you very much.
So there is no plan for getting Units of similar quality into all Rosters? What I mean is Graphical Quality, I dont know how to formulate this better,
You have for example some Rus Units which look amazing. Within that same Roster, there are reskinned Vanilla-Units, too. So it looks bad i.e not uniform.
I think that should be the foremost thing to do, since right now, there a instances where two factions fight and it looks... weird.
For the long term plan, we want to remove all vanilla units.
Regarding uniform, they actually didn't appear before the 14th century.
I did not mean literal Uniforms :laughter:
I meant that Units, within the same roster, diverge massively when it comes to "style". You have well done and beautifully detailed models next to bland, barely reskinned Vanilla ones, which breaks up Immersion and aesthetic sense.
Why, for example, dont you use the Vlach Models for the Slavic Militia in general? They are culturally close and the models are far superior to the bland Vanilla ones. Why do the Serbian Generals have Rusichi Models, yet ride Vanilla Horses with Vanilla Barding? It just doesnt make sense.
Because we're are only 3 guys and don't have enough free time (at least speaking for myself) to make fast progress :whistling
That's why this is still a beta version ;)
I stumbled upon a neat video series of someone playing SSHIP campaign if anyone is interested, the narration is quite top tier as far as lets play videos are concerned;

I keep crashing on the SSHIP loading screen. I have installed SS6.3 and SS6.4 wth the BugFixCompilation 1.27. It was working fine before installation.
