How can I do that? Should I just increase the multiplier through descr? I am also wondering that increasing unit size would give the upkeep cost become less realistic since each soldier will receiver lower salary. Ideas? (ps: I have used the search engine but so far I only got explanations for non specific BC mod, have I not tried better?)
They all work the same, so yes, export_descr_unit, but don't make the number more than 100.

To be more accurate, you can't increase the multiplier - it's hardcoded. You can only change the number in the EDU, which is for the lowest setting. Each setting has its own multiplier. The Huge setting's is 2.5, and there can only be 253 men per unit in M2, so never exceed 100 in the EDU.
I don't know how realistic the upkeep costs are in BC to begin with.
