well roman towns have roman names.. and native names... I haven't looked at those :sorry:
-.- double post
Ah nice map, a bot futher expanded to the east than I thought, still nice:cheer:
NON Beatufull Irishguy ! :D +rep
btw we take dutch names in the campaign withouth the romans :)
Cool map! I'll give you some extra rep when you include Deventer. :shifty:
I think latin names are ok btw. When using native names of the towns, it has to be the real ancient name and not the present name imo.
I agree with Sabazios, native names or Latin ones, not Dutch ones. If there are any known throughout history.
There aren't historical sources of real towns with names, the Germanics had small societies in areas like Swolla (zwolle) and Holland
so for now, I have oppidum, tribus and locus for barbarian settlements. (this is of course for the Roman campaign) When you find a native settlement name please post :D
I might add vicus or something too (domus?)

Im busy with units, and deleting units in EDU, DMB, EDB... A HUGE TASK it makes me crazy :S
BTW, Batavia TW is lighter than normal Rome tw there's no need to worry
Awesome ! :)
i'll keep following this
how the  can you say that :laughter: it can't be lighter... you still have the same files :P (unless we're going to have less units than in Vanilla, but that wouldn't really make a difference :))
and I'm doing some things on the map occasionally but I'm quite busy with school ATM so I'll wait for Christmas holiday ;)
Since there is a lot of water in the map, maybe it would be nice to add this watermod.
