I wanted to duplicate the campaign map, and in order to do this i would have to change all army coordinates in descr_strat, but first I tried to remove all armies from the map to see if I would succed in my map resizing. I resized all maps and the game crashed when I started a campaign.
The problem is not that I had removed all armies, I already tested it. The maps proportions are correct (some maps must have double of pixels of map_regions, some must have double+1 pixels).
The problem is that even if I remove all armies from descr_strat, the Senate still plot some caracters at campaign map (probably the senators). This means that there is one file that tells the game to plot these characters at specific locations. So, when I start a campaign with a doubled map these characters are propably beeing ploted into the sea, causing the crash. So I wanted to know where i can change the positions of this caracters.

I tried playing Extended Realims 3.5.3 on Hard (campaign) / Medium (battle) as the Carthaginians. The Romans just put a huge queue of armies in southern Italy waiting to invade Sicily, but when i put one army in the far East of Sicily none of them attacked and they didn't try to send any armies by sea (even though they control the sea and are blockading all my ports), making the game very dull. I don't know if this is due to me putting campaign AI on hard or what, but as usual mods seem to give the Romans much worse campaign AI and less historically accurate behaviour than vanilla Rome Total War did. In the original Rome Total War the Romans were constantly attacking all their neighbours aggressively, just as they did historically, and carrying out invasions by sea, again as they did historically. They also had massive manpower - their main advantage over other nations - again historically accurate. In mods they never seem to invade anywhere by sea whether you run them on the Rome Total War, Barbarian Invasion or Alexander exes.

I've tried Hellenic Total War and EB1.2 with the same results on all three exes.

I'm starting to wish there was a mod that removed a couple of the marginal factions (Arabs in EB or Britons and Armenians in Extended Realism) as factions say, but put the Romans back to three factions, but with historically accurate units for each nation and recruitable generals. Yeah, I began playing multiplayer some days ago, and my PC is currently under repair. I took that time to ask a question:

On a CWB 1v1 battle, each with 15lk I tend to use this army: (please note that I am a beginner and I am aware that this army is not perfect, if any flaws please correct me)

1 General unit
3 Skirmisher warband - gold attack upgrades
3 Chosen Axemen - silver or if I have the money gold attack upgrades
2 Chosen Archers - no upgrades, or maybe bronze/silver attack
4 Gothic Cavalry - bronze/bronze armor and attack
7 Spear Warband - silver attack/armor
