Hi guys, i currently have a crash that happens to me everytime when i launch the game on steam i have medieval 2 kingdoms and medieval 2, so when i launch i see a black screen then the game just crash nothing appear, so i don't know what is the problem i have reinstalled the mod for like 5 times now still doesn't works.

Anyway i am having an issue with the dwarven axe throwers. crashing as soon as they go to throw their first axe.

I installed correctly, followed all the UAC instructions as well as unhiding files etc etc.

I also have MOS, so i might head over there and see if theres more info on it, so will update if its something to do with mos.

I also tried the quickfix found on the forums here (the one where you change the path for the descr_projectiles to point to the folder i have the third age in (americas) and yet its still crashing.

its not a huge deal, i wont be using axe throwers for a little while, but i was wondering if theres something else im missing?

Heres the descr_projectile file so someone can have a look and make sure i did it all fine: descr_projectile.txt

Thank you in advance. :) my brother and i both have the exact same installation and have tried the fix for both of us, and we're both getting a crash.

so yeah I've got the Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit. When the faction logo scrolling ends and it goes to the eye of sauron. The log shows this
which according to the log is this, I don't know what the error means but I hope you will be able to help me.
More info:
Running as admin, changed save file, other battles and campaigns work fine, DST fix applied, playing as dwarves and not at war with good factions, vista 64bit.
I've attached my system.log, it shows all the way down at the bottom a loction which I went to and it says something about elves of lorien losing capital or something.

I can start a campaign and play custom battles fine but whenever I click the end turn button for the fourth time I get an error that says "Medieval 2 Total War encountered an unspecific error and will now exit. I have done a complete re-install of TATW and the MOS Sub Mod but I still get the same problem. It always crashes at the fourth turn. If you guys could give me any suggestions on what to do then that would be great.

I've just installed TATW (CD format not Steam) and every time I play a battle/campaign the bottom half of the screen where the unit cards, minimap etc is, there is a white block which only shows some photos. Has anyone else had this and managed to fix it?

Now to the problem, when I was Eraidor I went deep south and captured Isenguard. The instructions that appeared after capture were detailed and gave me the understanding; that my faction leader once in the settlement could use the Palantir via the F3 key. However after Arnor was remade, this is not the case, Aragorn is in Isenguard and when I press F3, the Palantir flashes orange, indicating that I don't meet the reqs.

To specify, I capped Isenguard reunited Arnor and afterwards attempted to use the Palantir. Not sure if this is a problem residing in Eraidor itself, or Arnor.

It then launches, shows the first loading screen for MOS, then crashes telling me medival II has encountered an unspecified error.

Tried running the cleaner.bat file, pressed enter(any key) and it closed right away, did not solve problem.
