I've played this mod for quite a while now and got some CTDs from now and then, haven't really messed up anything, just a reboot and ready to go again.
Now I'm playing as Venice and on turn 25, right after the rebels have shown their moves, the game crashes directly. When i checked my system.log file I see many different warnings, is this normal? Anyone with a clue how to fix this constant crashing?

Check it out! It has yet to be released but I've gotten sorta far, including 2 whole armies (not all the textures are finished), names, a map and some faction coat-of-arms, as well as some scripting. (I finally got some wizards to work like the bright wizards from CoW, but their textures dont work.)

My computer is unable to create unit models for my mod, War for the Midlands. It's sort of one of those essential things for a mod...if theres anyone who wants to help me with these I'd be happy to put your name in the (short) modding team list and give you prereleases. Send me a message on Mod DB or comment on this post if you want to help.

Knights would pay tax to their direct liege lord (the one who knighted them and/or gave them land). Barons and above would pay tax to their King, or in the case of a civil, their commanding overlord.

1. Tax at 1 pound every Friday.

2. Tax at 1/2 pound every Friday.

3. No fixed tax. If it is to be so then let the king (or officer of state in charge of the treasury) decide when and how much.

Hallo, my dear emperors.

Has anyone played the Gupta campaign? I found it hard, really hard.
The problem is, Indian cities and towns are not very profitable, and the army is not big if compared with those of Sassanids and Khidarites. I have to conquer vast territories really fast to gain some money, but my neighbours drive me back easily, especially Khidarites with their Xionite spearmen (who the heck are these guys armoured up to 30+??? Is it a bug or what?)

Can anyone show me the way to establish my Elephant Empire? I would be very obliged.

DLC#1 - Pontus (incl.)
DLC#2 - Greek Cultures
DLC#3 - Patch 1
DLC#4 - Pilums for Romans
DLC#5 - Flaming Arrows
DLC#6 - Patch 1.1
DLC#7 - Selecucid Faction
DLC#8 - Hellenic Cataphrachts add-on for DLC#7
DLC#9 - Patch 2
DLC#10 - Arrows for nomadic Horse Archers
DLC#11 - Horses for nomadic Horse Archers
DLC#12 - Patch 2.1 (fixes the two-handed animation bug introduced in patch #1)

Note: please go to the DLC General Discussion thread if needed

So, even though Rally Point 13 contained mostly old info, there were new bits...

So, even though Rally Point 13 contained mostly old info, there were new bits as well. I have listed them here to the best of my recollection.

-When your army is recruiting units, it goes into a muster mode for an unknown amount of turns. If you reside in friendly territory, you can recruit core army units ( whether or not that means we still have to recruit special units somewhere else) on the spot. On the other hand, if you are in enemy territory, you can recruit mercenaries, whose upkeep cost cost is the same as their recruitment cost. This simulates their high yearly wages and temporary nature, as the player won't want to have a lot of them in his army for excessive amounts of time.

- You start an army by recruiting a general first, and then he starts building up the army on the field.

-You can recolor and rename your units, as well as change their names. In addition, you can select banners for your units/ armies.

- An army can have a maximum of ten trait points spent on a trait tree. You gain traits through experience. Whether or not the entire army will have a common XP bar or the experience comes from the summed up experience of all units in it, one can not be certain.

- When you control a region on the campaign map, you can still micro-manage its provinces separately. However, a player can do certain large scale tasks on region level. An example that was mentioned concerned the holding of festivities/games that affected the happiness of all provinces under a certain region. A region can also specialize to perform a certain function, one would guess for example military or agriculture.

-To lessen the amount of siege battles, not all provincial capitals in a region will have walls, and will be ordinary field battles instead of sieges. I foresee this as a combination of both Empire and Shogun 2 style settlements, where important/military-focused settlements will have better defences. CA has said before that other battle types than sieges and field battles might also exist.

- Diplomacy will be more detailed, as the player will have access to detailed descriptions as to why a certain faction is acting like it is. The AI considers deeds that have either caused it indirect or direct harm, and on the other hand, acts that have caused it or its allies direct or indirect benefits. The temperament and attitude of the faction also determines their behavior.
