Official ChivTW patch 1.055 (Alx exe)
======================================

This is done to support the use of the Alx exe for ChivTW, just for the ones who have RTW - Alexander.

The installation of this patch is not saved game compatible, as for some small map file updates. Also included is the recent developer edb (tech-tree) file (as i'm not quite sure if this was already in 1.051 contained).

Main installation:
Unzip with winrar or winzip or 7zip. You'll get this readme and the Chivalry folder. Copy and paiste the Chivalry folder into your RTW folder, where ChivTW 1.051 is installed, overwrite.

Requirement of this "Alx" patch-installation is the full version ChivTW 1.051 installed.

When you have installed this patch:

1. Copy the Alx.exe into your RTW folder (where ChivTW's modfolder is located).

2. Copy the chat_filter.san file (located in: alexander/data) into your RTW/data folder and into your Chivalry/data folder.

3. Create a new shortcut for Chivalry, for this, go to properties and edit the target line so that it looks like following: (C: is only default, in yours it might be E, F or whatever, where your RTW is)

"C:\...\RomeTW-ALX.exe" -mod:Chivalry -nm -show_err -noalexander -movie_cam

For the "..." stands your own RTW directory path, where the Chivalry modfolder is installed.

4. Start with this edited shortcut.

This patch skips the ChivTW intro-movie, and you'll come directly to the ChivTW menu.
Another advantage should be, you can start the Additional Campaign or the Custom Battle mode, without to start first the Main Campaign.

Control: In the menu go to 'Options', i you see the version entry 1.9, you run ChivTW now with the Alx exe.
