v6 reduces the resource values another 20%. To better balance the game style i like to play. Which is very tough, but with enough cash from trade to avoid dead end games where the Enemy factions just wipe me out by turn 20 or 30.

The 20% reduction is to balance 10-star Merchants so when they advance in skill they don't earn to much cash. Also, the gameworld economy needed some stabilization.So times when your trade is cut off by naval blockades is less of a big spoke in the economic game.

Still, at these new settings, expect a very hot economy! You will need to learn tactics to deal with more powerful enemies. You now have the means through trade to match or beat them in economic power. Even the huge Kingdoms that will arise and dominate. Trade is one of the keys to victory.

Recommended for VH/VH games to balance the money situation in favor of more fun trading.

Trade income in this game is all based on the value of each resource. Each city sets up road and sea routes to trade with one or more other cities. Therefore, a higher valued trade resources will generate throughout the entire gameworld, more profits for EVERY CITY that is trading in that resource. This puts more cash into the game for both you and every other Kingdom. The result is much more action and more options for everyone, while still maintaining a reasonable cap on the games total economy. The gold standard is set at 60 for that reason.
