The purpose of this project is to make the Vanilla Byzantines more historically accurate.

Firstly I have changed the name of the Byzantines to "The Eastern Roman Empire". I have changed the color on the mini-map to crimson. I have also changed the faction description on the faction selection menu from referring to Byzantines, to referring to the Eastern Roman Empire. I have also changed characters in the campaign to be reflect this chart:

Faction Leader= Emperor
Faction Heir= Co-Emperor
Family Member= Tetrarch
General= Strategos

For all other characters I have changed their reference from "Greek, or Byzantine" to "Roman". I have done similar things to the turks and Egyptians, changing them to the Seljuk Sultanate and the Fatmid Caliphate respectively. Their characters have been changed as such, Seljuks on the left, Fatmids on the right:

Faction Leader= Sultan, Caliph
Faction Heir= Crown Prince, Crown Prince
Family Member= Prince, Prince
General= Sheik, Sheik

Changed all turk character references to Seljuk, and all Egyptian character references to Fatmid.

I have also removed the secondary color for all factions on the map to make them borderless, have changed the campaign to show the date instead of turn number, and have changed the campaign to be 1 year per turn.

For Vanilla Medieval II v1.3

Not everyone is going to have unpacked their files.
Rating: F-
Historically inaccurate when you intended for it to be accurate
Expecting everyone to have already unpacked their files and having to make them complete the mod for you.

It might not be completely historically accurate, but it is a heck of a lot more accurate than vanilla Byzantines, color and name wise.

While you are entitled to your own opinion, I would humbly request that you suggest ways to make it better, in a form of constructive criticism, than to just verbaly attack my work.
